Just saw a special look at Andor preview. All I have to say is, WOW! This is what Star Wars fans want to see. This is George Lucas's vision when he created A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back.

Very much looking forward to Andor. As for other shows.....6 episodes into Cobra Kai and it just keeps getting better and better. That's a fun and amazing show. Also, HotD episode 4 starts in 30 mins. :)

I started watching a new series on Netflix called The Watcher. It’s based on a true story and takes place in Westfield NJ. Just saw one episode, kind of creepy that it’s true.

Netflix Thai Cave Rescue. It's a true story about a teenage Thai soccer team that had to be rescued from a flooded cave. Not a hollywood production but a very compelling story.

Just started it as well. Pretty good so far but would have to guess it is very loosely based on a true story…

VERY VERY VERY loosely based on a true story, barely follows the actual story at all. I was very close to the actual story and family, this takes fiction to a whole new level.
Yeah, and IMO they went too far by embellishing characters and pushing narratives that were not central to the real story. Pretty sure I won’t make it past the first few episodes. Also, not a huge fan of Bobby Cannavale in this role. Just another mediocre Netflix series. It’s shocking how piss-poor Netflix content is.

Also laughing on the house-nice real house- 3800 Sq Ft and they paid 1.3 mil in 2014- I am assuming that was around the timing. But you can fit 10 of those properties and at least 2.5 of the house into the netflix home.

I know they never moved into that house. Didn't they move to somewhere else in Westfield and sold at a loss just to get away from that situation?

I also enjoyed The Blacklist but coming back 2 years later with this season...I also pulled a ruin the show moment for anyone that wants to watch from the start- so I won't.
But always find it hard to get back into a show with a gap.

Hmmm.. I think I know something about that Westfield story.. something anyone familiar with the story would know.. not some secret inside info. What can I say without possibly giving something away in teh show?.. hmmm.. there was something valuable in that house that could have helped with household income? I think that's cryptic enough.

I saw the banner ad for The Watcher.. now I will be sure to watch it. Thanks.

Will watch this over the weekend in daylight.
I’m not happy with Chicago PD so far are you?

Just finished first season of Jordan Peele's Twilight Zone — not as good as the original, of course, but some solid episodes.

Also been obsessed with Chefs v Wild, which launched on Hulu recently. Like a cross between Alive and Chopped, where chefs go forage stuff in backcountry BC and try to turn it into a gourmet meal.

Two I haven’t seen mentioned:

The Old Man (Jeff Bridges, John Lithgow) is very good. The Bear is also pretty good. Both on Hulu, I believe.

The creepy retired English teacher is a community college-Rutgers grad, per the dialogue. Resentful of the rich folks in town. Another RU reference thrown in, I think both in episode 6. Anywho... did not care for the plot wrapup and ending.

The Serpent and the Rainbow with Bill Pullman might be a good one to dig up for Halloween. Started reading The Sinner but decided that I didn't want to continue.

Anyone watch The Sinner on Netflix?

There are 4 seasons
Funny.. I just realized that I forgot about this show midway through Season 3.. so I finished up that season and will go for season 4.. though I find the artist somewhat annoying .. not sure why.

Disagree. One Yellowstone is better. Two I think it’s cool to see where they are prior to how they got there
I don’t disagree with this thought as well. I was just glad I saw 1883 before starting Yellowstone because it connected some of the dots and gave me some perspective

but, either way, great show

Since Marvel is taking a break on Disney +, there’s other shows that’s going on right now that is open to debate on WHAT TO WATCH ON TV. Just finished two of them and looking for something else until the final season of THE LAST KINGDOM drops on Netflix in March.

-PEACEMAKER on HBO Maxis surprising the hell out of me on many levels. (Can’t believe I’m saying this but) John Cena is doing a hell of a job in this role, probably better than The Rock but needs some more roles to confirm this. But he’s playing the hell out of PM/ Chris Smith. The rest of the cast is pretty good as well, esp the guy who plays Murn.

No Spoilers since it’s still going but it makes you wonder GREAT the DC Universe would be right now if they had the right people directing the movies and running the program from the beginning? It’s amazing how Joss Weedon and the DC executives have F***ed up the whole thing and it’s now starting to come back together and be a decent universe. Time will tell.

ALL OF US ARE DEAD on Netflix. Pretty good show. Think TRAIN TO BUSAN inside a high school. No spoilers but this show goes on both ends of the spectrum as it deals with some HEAVY topics to the other side with the Zombie and other stuff. I’d recommend this.

ANYTHING ELSE OUT THERE????
RAYMOND RERUNS?

Finished The Watcher. Really enjoyed it, creepy story perfect for the Halloween season. Thought almost all the actors were very good and great fits for the roles.

Weekly= Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu (this season stinks)
911 on Fox
Sometimes Chicago PD and SVU .. losing interest quickly. I may need some adderall or an antidepressant.
Ryan Murphy was on fire with Dahmer, but
American Horror Story is terrible so far.

I’m waiting for Dead To Me to drop on Netflix.
Tried GOT for the 19th time and cannot get through more than a few episodes. Same with Ozark.

Just started watching The Peripheral on Amazon Prime. Virtual reality, quantum tunneling type series. First 2 episodes are available now, new ones every Friday after. I believe 8 episodes in all for the season.
