The Hall board seems very mixed on him joining the staff.Herenda may end up at Seton Hall. Should we lose Knight, I think Pike is very good friends with Herenda so worth watching.
Tom Green was there for 26 years.FDU sounds like a job to take if you don’t care about your coaching career getting dinged.
Depends how big of an NIL wad you put in his back pocket. I think the basis for evaluating a staff's ability to recruit is going to change significant going forward. Can he recruit?
You can run a successful program there because you are competing with programs who are in the same boat.I don’t know how anyone can run a successful program there. No Alumni interest. No student interest in sports. The gym isn’t tiny, but no interest from general sports fans. No TV coverage and a lousy conference.
I don’t know about that. Some of those schools have some type of fanbase and aren’t empty campuses on weekends. I have not been to the other NEC schools, but I would guess have nicer campuses than FDU—Hackensack. I was there years ago and it is completely different than FDU-Madison.You can run a successful program there because you are competing with programs who are in the same boat.
Rutgers has struggled to land elite players long before NIL entered the picture. A successful recruiting background is a prerequisite for a Big Ten hoops staff opening.Depends how big of an NIL wad you put in his back pocket. It is FDU Teaneck, but the athletic center is just across the river in Hackensack.FDU- Teaneck (or is it now Hackensack?), NJIT, St. Peters, and Rider all pay about $250K for a Head Coach. Monmouth is double that for King . I think Rider is the best job out of those.
Kevin Ollie heads up OTE down here in Atlanta. He's not going anywhere soon.If we lose Knight, we could end up with McConnell. He runs the Princeton offense which seems to be more effective than the one Karl runs. Karl can then work on defense. The other guy I like is Kevin Ollie.
2009 was a long time ago and Green did have 3 real bad years at the end, but overall kept FDU a fairly good program.Tom Green was there for 26 years.
Think that’s unfair. They put BBall on a starvation diet. He’s a good guy but a bad coach IMO
Where is Bryant going?NEC is about to lose Mount St Mary's to the MAAC. One of the few good programs left in that conference. Bryant and MSM leaving, NEC has 7 members, provisional Merrimack for 1 more year and new provisional member Stonehill(Mass), 4 years.
sounds like a pretty good hire for FDU .
Care to revise your statement, sir?FDU sounds like a job to take if you don’t care about your coaching career getting dinged.
Want to change this now?FDU sounds like a job to take if you don’t care about your coaching career getting dinged.

Are you the Amazing Kreskin?sounds like a pretty good hire for FDU .
You think he will get a bigger job because of this win?Want to change this now?
can I constantly brag about this .Good call!

That's up to you... But now whenever he brags about it as evidence of his expertise on all things Rutgers, the rest of us can remind him that we consider MADHAT1's FDU hire prediction to be much more impressive... (Thank you lord..)can I constantly brag about this .
I'd love to bring up this in other discussions claiming "Madhat knows" what he's talking about , then pointing out how I was right about FSU's hire
