I’d have to be getting a really big salary bump to move into Rick Pitino’s old office.
Yea make sure to swap out the desk chair and couch. Difficult to get all the stripper juice out
Good hire for them. But man, FDU gets five minutes in the sun then back to square one.

It's a very truthful headline. It doesn't say "we" or "FDU" vow to build on momentum. It says "Tobin Anderson vows to build on momentum." If anyone captured that momentum it was Tobin!
If he were patient, he’d wait to see if Fran McCaffery takes the Notre Dinero job. Iowa is no doubt his dream job.
I wonder how the poor Merrimack HC feels. He wins the NEC and due to a pathetic rule - can’t play in NCAA tourney and now the coach he defeated has made a much better life for himself !

You get a minute in the the sun in exchange for a long bout of pain. And for a school like Iona,you have no where to go but to jump on a coach who was just a div 2 guy second ago . No matter what some say , thank God we're in the Big Ten.

Tobin is the the better coach. Won on every level. All he needed was a chance at the D1 level. He was not long for FDU. Pretty much beat Purdue with a dII squad.
Doubt it for a host of reasons but in any event we have the resources and the league to attract a replacement. We're not Fdu or Iona by any strech.

The expecations are always pretty low, so maybe struggling needs to be put into context.
Tobin was Iona’s choice to be head coach 3 years ago until Pitino through his name in the ring.
