That's one I can't wait for. I wonder how close to the book they'll try to make it? If it focuses on Brad Pitt then it will be the same only by name.

It looks cool. It doesn't look anything like the book. It's only apparent relationship I can see is the name.

I think I remember them being runners in the book. At least that was the way it sounded to me based on some of the descriptions given in the book. It also looks like to me they're going to use a little of the book story line, but drop Brad Pitt into the situations.

I just finished up a couple of other ZA books that were pretty good reads. Day by Day Armageddon Origin to Exile, and the 3 book series The Morning Star Strain. I think the third book for the Day by Day Armageddon is coming out next month.

Looks like name only

You've got to figure a studio wants to capture the "original" zombie ideas from the book and drop a bankable star in the middle. Otherwise, I could play the narrator and then we'd have 12-15 short clips. It would be an indie picture.

I certainly don't remember them being Eddie Kennsion returning a punt against MSU fast but they did overrun people, not like the Walking Dead zombies who have that gangster strut.

Just finished "The Road to Woodbury" which is a novel set in the Walking Dead universe and is the sequel to The Rise of the Governor. It was a really good read that gives you a ton of backstory on some of the characters.

they weren't runners in the book. they were very, very slow moving zombies. do you not remember in the battle of yonkers it talks about how you would think it'd be easy to hold them back being that they were so slow, but there were just so many of them that you can't do anything no matter the speed. i wish it would follow the book and not what looks to be nothing like it, besides the name. i was really interested in the storyline with the blind monk in the mountains or the crashed female pilot in louisiana but it doesn't look like that's what we'll get. looks like we're getting another i am legend type movie and the hollywood star is on a mission to save his family.

Read "The Return Man" for another good ZA book. Different spin, but overall I really enjoyed it.

I just read the first Day by Day Armageddon, and I was pretty disappointed. I didn't think there were enough zombies. There was also not very much character development. The only difference between all of the characters was their pre-ZA jobs. Are the rest of the books better, or is it pretty much the same thing?

I may get gashed for this but that trailer looks awful.

Those zombies are so CGI it's stupid. Inception soundtrack remixed sounds like **** too.
