I've never even heard of the kid, Logan woodside, but he played with Ryan Timmons and was in the 2013 class along with timmons. He has over 350 yards on 24/30 passing tonight with a quarter to go and 4 touchdowns.

Anyway, I always like watching Kentucky kids and am watching him the rest of this game on ESPN2. Just in case anyone else was interested.

Guess, since he was not a 3-star or above or from Ohio, UK had no interest. If UK watched Timmons live or on film, they had to see Woodside play.

I've heard of him alright.

We didn't offer him. But he's a better college quarterback than Towles or Barker and I am taking into accout his competition- look at what he did against BYU for example. He's legitimately better than those two guys. He may or may not be a NFL prospect. If he keeps up the good work, he's at least getting a training camp invite. We seemed to have to missed out on another one, but, this time, not to Alabama, but to Toledo. This is just great!

Wasn't Randell Cobb just a 2 star from Tenn.

I'm glad my cougars won. But that Toledo QB lit us up. Even though he got some help on his last drive with his receiver coming back in bounds to make the 4th down conversion.

And then they go for 2, botch the snap, and still convert like it was nothing.

..... all of that and only to give up a game winning FG. Crazy game.

He's where he needs to be.

Our starting QB began is career at Grambling. Is that where he "needs to be?" Or perhaps players get better once they leave high school. I know that's a hard concept to believe after what we've seen the last four years, but players do actually improve and a good staff can help that process along.

UK wasn't the only school that passed on him, many others did too including the juggernaut a few miles up the road. Sometimes kids develop late, credit him.
He's developed but it's not like he didn't shine in high school. His Franklin Co. team beat Drew Barker's team in the 5-A playoffs in a crazy shootout. And he put up huge numbers at FCHS.
