Basically Sully'sConestoga still open? That was the go-to 30 years ago.
No. Closed in 2015 or so. I loved that place. Had to best creamed spinach.Conestoga still open? That was the go-to 30 years ago.
Donenelles gets my vote tooDonenelles

Sully's
Benson's
Take your pick, I've never found a great one really
Hate to hijack, but BR Prime is so good. Went in there about 10 years ago and had quite one of the better meals I've had. Got to try three different Pappy's. They had the 12 year, the 15 year, and the 20 year all in stock. I guess they get it more due to their connection with MGM and Prime Steakhouse.Drive north to Ridgeland to Shapley's or south to Biloxi to BR Prime
Great news. Headed to BR Prime tomorrow night.Hate to hijack, but BR Prime is so good. Went in there about 10 years ago and had quite one of the better meals I've had. Hattiesburg people really seem to like Sully's.
I prefer Ely's in Jackson, but Shapley's is great too. The big filet lousianne at Ely's is possibly the best dish in the Jackson area.
This. Donnelles is solid. But not sure how much better it is than a filet from Outback.Donenelles

The H'burg Outback is legit.People will try to tell you Benson's or Sully's. It's not. They are trash. Go to Outback. No rules.
Waffle House, best steak in town.Who has the best steak in town ?
This is how you know SPS is getting old… you get a restaurant recommendation for a place that has been closed for 10 yearsNo. Closed in 2015 or so. I loved that place. Had to best creamed spinach.

Ed's isn't close to the best burgers in HattiesburgThis is a hijack; last time I went thru town I ate at Ed’s and that was a fine-asss pattymelt
1) Big OneEd's isn't close to the best burgers in Hattiesburg
I have but every time I wasn’t paying and I really think thisThis is gonna sound like such a “bro” answer, but I’ve never had a steak in a restaurant and thought “this is better than what I could make at home.”
Have you ever feasted on the T-Bone at Waffle House? This is gonna sound like such a “bro” answer, but I’ve never had a steak in a restaurant and thought “this is better than what I could make at home.”
The food scene in Starkville is better, and it's not close. Hattiesburg has more options, but their local stuff isn't better than Starkville's.Hattiesburg, yuck
Nevermind the steaks, who in their right mind would want to live in that barren, pine infested part of the country? I can’t think of a worse area to live other than some barren desert.
Sully's is overpriced and very average. Rednecks just don't care. El Jeffe is legit! Southbound is too. There’s plenty of local spots that are pretty good. He said steaks. Sullys must not be that bad they’re about to open the 4th one so somebody enjoys something they serve. You just have to ask the right person and get of Hardy st for a minute.
Tacos El Jeffe awesome
Petra Cafe very good
Jutama’s very good
Grateful Soul awesome meat and 2,3,4
Midtowner solid meat and three or breakfast
Mario’s very good
If you’re brave enough to leave Oak Grove and come downtown Nelson is doing some cool things down here. (This is a joke, it’s not like going to downtown Jackson)
Southbound Bagel
Hattiesburger & Blues
Nellies Chicken and Daiquiris
Blue Jazz
Bourbon on front all his.
For the really brave
