Went to bed at 10:30. Fireworks in neighborhood woke me so spent sometime trying to calm my dog’s nerves.
Currently in Disney. Staying at the campgrounds across the water. Fun fact: new years at midnight is the only time Disney launches fireworks 360 degrees all the way around the magic kingdom.
I never served in the military, but I will now have flashbacks
also, the parks are all giant raves at new years. DJ’s set up everywhere. Epcot is apparently just a giant party and mass of humanity, which makes sense considering that is where the best booze is. Younger me would have loved it. Older me muttered something under his breath about whipper snappers, rock n roll music, and hula hoops.

Opened a 9 year old Old Elk Bourbon. Had a few drinks along with some finger food and my wife, my dog and I watched the Nashville countdown.
Went to bed right after the Miami beatdown of Buckeye ended and then bitched about fireworks (get off my lawn style) for 2-3 hours.
Went to bed around 10:00 and that was only because I wanted to see how Miami and Ohio State ended. I didn’t hear not one round of fireworks at midnight. Slept to 6:00 this morning.
Still awake. These methamphetamines keep me at my peak.

My wife and I are recovering from pneumonia from whatever new bug has been released on the American population. We went to bed around 9PM, listened to fireworks until we went to sleep. Woke up around 12:50 and my wife told me she let 2025 out the door at midnight. I went to the bathroom and let out the last liquid I absorbed in 2025. Went right back to sleep and got up at 6:30AM.
Turned in at my usual time of 9:00pm. You parents out there, tell your children that nothing good happens after 10:00pm and raise them accordingly. They will eventually appreciate it.

I went out and shot fireworks at midnight because it upsets my neighbors dog, she is a ***** so hopefully the dog **** all over her house.
Went to a NYE party which was heavily stocked with alcohol. It was fun, but I’m feeling it today.
Waiting up for your kid when you just want to go to sleep is a level of suck I didn’t know existed until I experienced it
Slept like a baby after the Ohio State ***-whuppin’. Will sleep good tonight after Alabama slinks off the field and Ole Miss goes up in flames.
Tried to go to bed at 10:30 at our resort in Jamaica. The resort was having a party about 100 yards from our room. Had flashbacks to my high school days with subs in my truck. Party lasted until 1.
