Lots of fans with tickets coming into Penn Station were unaware of the dumb 5:00 start.
Oh please. You made a fool out of yourself yesterday. Don't try and bullship that everyone else was the same. First, people who pay big $ for tickets are very in tune to what time the game is. Second, the Stadium was packed before first pitch.
You made a foolish mistake, admit it, move on.
The fake coverup is worse than the crime.

That was pretty funny.
How could you not have known game time ?

I was laughing so hard when I first read it and couldn't wait to see the responses.
And in this day and age where information is available in so many forms. Certainly can never claim to be a big Yankee fan and horribly embarrassing. [laughing]

I'm so sick of the anti-Judge crap everywhere. He has played in 2 playoffs series thus far, in his 1st playoffs, during his ROOKIE season, against the game's best staff (Cleveland) and arguably the best 1-2 starting punch (Houston). Jose Altuve has played 6.5 seasons, is in his 2nd post-season, and 4th post-season series overall, as well as being a 5-time all-star and a 3-time AL batting champion. I love Altuve's game, and thinks he deserves the MVP BUT... Here are their stats through 4 games in THIS series (I think):

Altuve: 6/14, ZERO RBI, 2 K's, 4 BB, 0 HR, 1 error
Judge: 4/13, 5 RBI, 6 K's, 4 BB, 2 HR's, 0 errrs
Are you honestly trying to say that Aaron Judge is a better baseball player than Jose Altuve based on the first four games of this series?

I assumed we would be on during prime time, not rush hour.

Plus I took an extended lunch hour at my girlfriends pad and was off the clock for a while. So had to work later than expected and catch up.

Once I got to the bar and start watching the Yanks took over the game, I'm good luck.

Lots of fans with tickets coming into Penn Station were unaware of the dumb 5:00 start.

What time is the Mets game today?
I call ******** on that.Again, if they were good enough to be playing, and playing an exciting brand of baseball, as the Yankees are, I'd know, believe me,I'd know. I'd for sure, before listing my itinerary, know the friggin game time,Lmao.

The post season wasnt the question. It was this series. You being a Met fan just shows how stupid you are. BTW where the walk and OBP stats? Idiot!

See, but if you’re going to do that, which wasn’t in the spirit of my posted stats, you have to add this:

Altuve - 6.5 seasons, 2nd post-season, 4th post-season series. First series was versus 4th best pitching staff in baseball during the regular season.

Judge - 1st full season, 1st post season and 2nd post-season series. First series was versus best pitching staff in baseball.

Based on the first five, yes, I'm pretty comfortable saying that. Judge has made some amazing defensive plays, and his bat's come alive. Altuve has disappeared at the plate, and he couldn't even tag Headley out at second last night after Headley fell down after rounding first base. The guy fell down and still got to second safely.
Tonight, that drive up the middle got past Altuve- I have to believe Didi would have made the play.

Great run,so with Yankee ownership, and a smart GM in Cashman, expectations will be high right from the first soft toss in February. How will they handle it, for your sake,I'd hope not as pathetic as the Mets did.

But, but, but...there was a 4 or 5 game stretch where Judge was better in some categories!
To NUTS' point, Altuve is more experienced. Judge is young. I have nothing against the kid--it's the Yankee fans who get way ahead of themselves and make ridiculous pronouncements about stuff like this. He is a terrific fielder (nice play stealing that home run last night), and a solid power hitter. If he can cut down down on the Ks, he will be a phenomenal player, not just a really good player. Peace out.

You guys should be talking about Shohei Ohtani, the Japanese player who could truly be the next Ruth. Amazing pitcher, who throws over 100 mph, and hitter, with incredible power. Possibly coming to MLB in the next year or two. I hope so.

I think this post held up well. His performance has exceeded everyone's wildest expectations - on his way to being the best player ever.
