I was at the University Hospital today and notice 100's of buzzards flying around. I was on top of the parking garage and noticed that the stadium has not been clean. It looked really nasty. I imagine it didn't smell very good since the buzzards were flying around. How long does it take for Miss State to clean Davis Wade after Saturday?

Davis Wade used to be cleaned early Sunday morning. When we would RV on campus I often got up early on Sunday morning and walked and they would be cleaning the stadium and the Junction.

Correct. They start cleaning on Sunday. Back in the early to mid 2000s it was a third party janitorial staff. They would bag everything from the stadium up and pile the bags in the concourses, and then first thing Monday morning student workers with gameday operations would collect the bags and haul off to the large stadium dumpsters

I drove by it this afternoon and thought to myself that it needs a good pressure washing. It looks incredibly dirty and that's from being in a truck on State St. I can only imagine what it looks like up close.

Yeah, I was part of a group that cleaned East side of Davis Wade, back in early 2000s. We would meet there after Church on Sundays. Would finish by end of afternoon. Let’s just say beer + nachos + September was pretty gross. But the view from the top of the upper deck is top notch.

I worked for 16 years across the street from the stadium. It was normal to see buzzards on Monday and Tuesday after a game feasting on morsels left from tailgates. Sometimes they seemed to be so full that they’d have to wait to fly off.

My wife has been in Baptist going on 2 weeks now so I've been making daily trips down that way. There's an older model Mercedes that has been sitting on the side of Woodrown Wilson St since the Howard game 2 weekends ago. There was LOTS of trash along Woodrow Wilson the Sunday after the game, including a smashed big screen TV, but most of that appears to have been collected. Yeah, they made a bit of a mess.

I hope your wife is getting better.

Typical of the government that runs the city. Eventually, everything will shut down due to poor maintenance. While the city of Jackson may not have direct responsibility for the stadium, the community does pretty much fall in line with their ineptness.
