Haven't looked for a job in 15 years...newspapers don't seem to be the avenue employers use anymore to find candidates...if you own a business or you're responsible for hiring people, what is your preferred method of doing so? How do you recruit? Career Builder? Craigslist? Company website? Just curious....

Newspapers are the one place where when you see and ad for a job, you can believe it.
Crap is on the internet.

so take it with that filter.

All of our positions go up on the Company website first. Then I will post it on Monster and some of the other employment sites. Even with all that most of my hires have been either word of mouth or I went to places on the internet they would hang out. I never, ever put an ad in the paper. Again, the people I'm hiring are almost certainly not going to be getting the Commercial Appeal delivered.
