You can do it. I quit last year for 7 months cold turkey. Unfortunately, tradegy struck in my family and I started back. Until now I have not been able to muster up the determination needed to try again. Figure my dedication to a higher power is a good place to start!
The average fan of Umphrey's, Panic, The Flaming Lips and etc isn't exactly the type to give a **** whether someone is in shape. That is a dumb reason to give up soft drinks and fattening foods.
I can't keep up with Charlie Sheen. In truth nothing I am Southern Baptist I will just continue being a hypocrite and hope it works out in the long run.
Well this is my first go at giving up something for lent. I'm currently in RCIA converting to Catholicism, and it's been one of the best decisions I've made in my life. It's such a beautiful faith if you actually take the time to learn what everything means. Anyway, I'm giving up soft drinks and sweets. This will be especially hard since I get an unlimited amount of free soft drinks at work. I'm also gonna do the workout thing, because it's not just about giving something up but doing something too. I'm also fasting today for ash Wednesday, and I'm 17ing starving.
