Ive worked in 3rd party logistics/brokerage for 8.5 years, basically since i got out of MSU. I work for a fortune500 global company and have been involved in truck booking, new sales, customer management, business planning, and management.
If you want to toss me a message with any questions you have about the industry/markets or about specific companies, id be more than happy to answer.
There are a ton of benefits to working for local or regional brokers, and a ton of negatives too. Same things apply to working for a multi-national broker.
One is not better than the other on paper, but there definitely can be a better fit for someone.
