I'm fine with your first speculative post and I'm fine with your follow-up here, but if the situation was reversed, you'd be all over my post screaming "fail" or spewing some other childish insult. That hypocrisy is why your credibility in these threads is so low. Lay off the insults and hypocrisy and these could be much better threads.
Clean up your own editing skills and…right back at ya. 😉

stop acting like a baby

anyhow 70s are back in play possibly for Saturday..all depends on who wins the battle...the bermuda high or the canadian high....temperature gradients are going to be really wild and we could be in the 50s or the 70s . Stay tuned.

Pointing out your ongoing hypocrisy is not "acting like a baby" - it's simply an observation. Anyway, every major model has 70s on Saturday for everyone up through NNJ and most have 70s on Sunday (with a couple in the 60s), but the NWS isn't biting yet, as they still have mid-60s for highs on Saturday and Sunday south of 195/276, but with high temps dropping off to the mid/upper 50s along/N of 78. Always tricky forecasting temps this time of year.

i think there is a difference between wishcasting for snow two weeks away and looking at temperature trends

I was asked a direct question about snow chances over a week away, so I commented that 11 days from then had some potential. That's not wishcasting - which would be hyping up that timeframe (which I didn't come close to doing) - that's simply answering a question.

Too much, too soon. 65 - 68 would be good. But I’ll take it and may fire up some charcoal.
Back door cold fronts can be so unpredictable and then come in fast in the evening and drop temps 25 degrees

Lee Goldberg just said 70F for Saturday in NYC, which means 70+ everywhere S and W of NYC. High of 38F in Boston and 73F in NYC is very possible. Sunday looks to be around 60F in NYC and warmer to the SW. 4-5 day forecasts have been wrong before though, so I wouldn't bet the farm on these temps yet.

With winds up to 30 down here it'll mean little unless yor're playing a course where every hole is with the wind or flying a kite.

Even in the 50s with full sun it felt ok today

Let the brief warmup commence
Today was really nice - perfect early spring day. The wind wasn't too bad at all. Now, if you were sitting in the shade at Yankee Stadium today with the wind out there, that's another story.

big warmth days like tomorrow in March remind me of the big outdoor parties Zeta Psi used to have in the early 90s at RU. I think 90 or 91 might have been the year it was simply outrageously warm and the beer flowed

Winter storm warnings/advisories/watches up for the northland from the Adirondacks through northern New England with 4-10" of snow possible in many locations, along with 1/4" or more of freezing rain - the freezing rain would be far more dangerous than the snow. Should be a good weekend for skiers.

Actually the wet snow is not great to ski in (unlike the powder of the Rockies). A couple of inches can be great but anything more than can suck since it’s stickier. Our skis are waxed for ice/fast conditions.

Most east coast skiers expect groomed trails because they don’t have wide enough skis for the heavy snow.

I learned about Back Door Cold Fronts from meteorologist Don Kent on WBZ radio when I lived in Portsmouth, NH in the early 70's. They must have been pretty common up there because he talked about them all the time.

Agreed. Was mostly just saying a lot of wet snow is better than rain for skiers.

Was 84F today for a high in Voorhees (near Cherry Hill) today and was still 82F at 5:30 pm when I got home. We then went to dinner in Highland Park with a group of friends (Mr. Pi's - excellent sushi) at 6:30 pm and it was still 80F, but when we walked out at 8:30 pm to go see a band at Pino's it was down to 50F. That's a serious cold front. Jeff Smith on Channel 7 just said that when the front came through in the late afternoon in NYC, at one point it was 51F at LGA and 81F at JFK for a 30F spread across over 10 miles.

A solid 45 degrees at 5:30am and has held steady. Will hit 73 today.
After almost zero bike rides in January and February, March has been a good month.

You will hit 70 maybe but the rest of us will be stuck in 50s

Up and down Rollercoaster will see highs in mid 70s Monday back to 50 by Wednesday back in 70s Friday back to 50 on Saturday

The following week unfortunately is looking quite cool at this time with temps in in the low to mid 50s. Hopefully it changes and it can because long term modeling isn't very good in the spring

Was at a outdoor Bday party last night. Everyone was enjoying themselves and seemingly within 5 minutes everyone was cold and went inside. I don't remember a temp drop like that.
