Lib 3 to the rescue here.
I have a playlist with Toby Keith and Rage on it. I disagree with both of their politics.
Chris Pratt is probably my favorite actor in the MCU and he belonged to a crazy church.
I miss Big and Rich Coming to Your City for Gameday and Are you ready for some football on MNF.
Chik Fila Chickn Minis are fantastic.
Publix typically has great cuts of meat.
I use Goya beans for my burritos.
I liked My Pillow for a while but that has changed. Not because of politics, but my sleep habits have changed.
I liked Dan Mullen as a Coach despite him believing that Thetans from a volcano makes Tom Cruise a god of some sort.
I like Robbie on T&L even though he denies the moon landing.
I believe in the soul, the cock, the *****, the small of a woman’s back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days.

You must have missed She Hulk. They took his great character and destroyed it
I watched that series and it was...meh. Not bad, but not great.
If his character as destroyed, well OK then. I can still watch ragnarok and laugh.

Plus, Loki is straight gone now. Like done. Now that's a destroyed character.

Still don't give a 17 about Ruffalo's political views, despite finding out he thinks 9/11 was an inside job.

So when Chris Pratt gets asked his opinion and he gives a tame and conservative answer

is that the same as

mark ruffalo spouting his liberal opinion without be asked?

for the record I enjoy mark as an actor. Can’t speak on his English accent bc mine is terrible.

I guess you’ve never seen Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, or anything Sean Connery has done where he is supposed to do a non Scottish accent? Or anyone other than a southerner or British person doing a southern accent. Hanks won an Oscar butchering a southern accent.
Hanks is one of my favorite actors. He was awful as the Colonel in that Elvis Pressley movie, IMO. Yes, I thought Costner playing an Englishman was terrible, but probably not as bad as if he'd tried to do an English accent and failed miserably.

Is it as "good" as Kevin Costner's in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves?
Said earlier, Costner's accent was not good for that part. Would have been worse if he'd tried to fake a British one and been as awful as Ruffalo. Beyond that, Ruffalo's acting was also dog-****.

One of my favorite lines from Robin Hood Men in Tights is when Carey Elwes says, “Unlike other Robin Hood’s, I can speak with an English Accent.”

If you don't know Mark Ruffalo's politics then you are just not paying attention. You are not qualified to comment on any political discussion because you are "Schultz".

So people that think J6 was simply a small disruption during a peaceful tour are qualified to comment, but someone that doesn't know the specific political views of a fringe A-list actor isn't qualified to comment?

Brilliant.***

I do believe I have identified, in part, why we are so 17ed when it comes to discussion in society- standards for what are reasonable views are flipped and upside down. Standards for who to listen to are flipped and upside down.
I don't know Ruffalo's views because I don't seek to learn the political views of random celebrities. I don't do that because I don't care. I don't care because their views are typically of no consequence to me.

This is too funny. It's very close to saying that if you don't read Page 6 or US Weekly, you aren't qualified to comment.

PS- I don't know Ewan McGregor's or Vin Diesel's political views either. Is that bad?...or does it not matter since your scorrn is selective and only applicable to who we happen to be talking about in any given moment?

That's even worse then! He sounds like an amateur trying to imitate an English accent, but doing a really bad job. Nothing in his accent sounds remotely French. The other main actors also speak with English accents, but do so very well. Perhaps they are actually English.

But Ruffalo is hacking it so badly it's funny. Sounds like 80% of his words are spoken with an American accent, with the balance a poor attempt at an English one.
Watched it. Enjoyed it. Was not out off at all by his accent or acting. Watch tons of British crime series so I’m an expert.

I for one thought Sean Connery was great as a thousand-year-old Spaniard swordsman with a Scottish accent in Highlander.

Maybe a better question is "Why are you posting in it, bringing it back to the top yourself?"
Well, it’s been on the first page for two days now and I hadn’t clicked on it until now. I finally decided someone needed to post how wrong everyone else was because they obviously couldn’t reach that conclusion on their own.

Yeah, I'm a little surprised myself. Guess there's a lot of boredom going around.

I get it. It’s football season, we’re in the middle of a coaching search, our BB team is 5-0, our soccer team is in the sweet 16, and we’ve spent two days talking about Mark Ruffalo. It’s kinda sad really.

I’m not sure I’ve studied hard enough for this particular culture war test (nor will I), but there have been a few anecdotes shared so far in the thread by those who have. They seem to not paint Ruffalo to be a liberal or conservative, but rather just a tin-foil hat wearing lunatic.

Watching Netflix series "All the Light We cannot See". He's playing the part of an Englishman, and his accent is so terrible it makes the show damn near unwatchable. Unbelievable an actor could be this awful, yet still get the part.

Truly, I'm having to bite my tongue as we (wife & I) watch to keep from laughing during this drama. She read the book and is a huge fan.
Terrible actor? Lol not hardly. Ruffalo was excellent in the miniseries "I Know This Much Is True" , and was excellent in Zodiac, playing Inspector Dave Toschi. He's probably an acid washed Hollywood lefty, but he's got serious talent. That doesn't mean he wasn't ever miscast in another production. That happens to all of them.

Remind me why we care about actor’s political views again?

unless they stop mid scene and go into a diatribe about the positives or negatives of critical race theory, why should I give a ****?

Dayton, Ohio

Bruce Banner was born in Dayton, Ohio (United States of America, USA). He is a legal citizen of the United States, and his identity is publicly known. Banner first transformed into the Hulk in a New Mexico desert, thus considered the place of birth for Hulk.
