Buddy of mine recently went to Washington D.C. and as I was checking pictures I saw in the background what I thought was McCool hall. Did some googling and found out that it is this building
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Executive_Office_Building. McCool hall looks like a mini-version of the New Executive Office Building in DC. Any architechture people on here or anyone else that knows the history of McCool andwhetheror not it was intended to be just like it or the design was a straight rip off?<div>

are nearly identical. When was McCool Built? New Executive started construction in 1965, I'm pretty sure McCool was after that... but you are right, they are remarkably similar. Same design firm, maybe?

The original McCool look was a mistake.mi am glad they re-did it and are bringing some consistency in they style of other buildings like Lee Hall, the new Union, and they drawings for a remodeled Davis Wade

as that building after seeing it himself in Washington. I only know this because of the single deep embedded memory of freshman orientationand the guide telling us that.very thing. I didn't remember the name of the building though.<div>
</div><div>And that students is why the design doesn't match the style of lee and now swalm. Cause the money may wanted it to look like that building.</div>
