It really is. Gotta watch out for those Hellcats and Altimas. It was a little better right after the THP had more of a presence but they morons have their confidence back.

I've lived in Memphis for two stretches. First as a bachelor on Madison about a mile west of Overton Square for five years. Had my bike stolen from my second floor balcony, someone tried to pry open my sliding back glass on my truck but were unsuccessful, and my future wife had her side window smashed. Street parking where there is a lot of foot traffic = not good. Second stint as homeowner in an east Memphis neighborhood (7 yrs) I have had no problems, but I make sure to lock my stuff up every night.
Did you see "The Sound of Music" at the Orpheum? We saw it a couple of weeks ago in Huntsville and it was fantastic. Don't know if it's the same cast but hope you didn't miss it.
Do people actually think like this currently? My late mother was afraid to attend some public venues, but not a concert.

I have noticed a lot more state troopers on 240 lately. Traffic is still fast but not the autobahn like it usually is.
It is definitely better but still have to keep your head on a swivel

We saw that earlier in the season - I think November. The special effects are really, really good. Our next one is this coming Sunday, "& Juliet". Don't know much about it but saw one promo and the music appears to be good.
Not a popular opinion, but I think the worst one this season was "Shucked". I just didn't care for it but most like it.
