Greaaaaatttttt, I'm on the tarmac in DFW awaiting takeoff.
Don’t worry. Despite all the DEI that has completely destroyed the safety of the aviation industry, the White House assures you it’s perfectly safe to fly.
I always say a little prayer to myself before takeoffs and landings.
I was at DFW with a coworker waiting on flight. A black lady was sitting in front of me and my coworker behind me. I jokingly said to my coworker, "I hope it isn't your time to go when that plane takes off", she instantly stood up and said, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ." I couldn't stop laughing.

Apparently this plane crashed at or near an intersection. Could have been much worse had it come down in the row houses that are all over Philadelphia, in this case, just a very short distance away. Philadelphia is a very densely packed city.

If you were a sane person, the responsible question to ask is why the military is putting a relatively inexperienced pilot of any demo on a mission in congested civilian airspace at night. That is a damn good question to ask.

Trump's CIA has low confidence on that. Might be true but nobody has confidence in claiming that as fact aside from my uncles on Facebook that assuredly have done their research.
Makes me feel better about AI taking our jobs. Not suggesting ATC is simple, but seems like a lot of it is simple logic based that could be done by a bot and humans can monitor/backup. But I'm ignorant on this one - maybe that's already the case and they still cant get enough controllers. I feel like I've been hearing this is the case well over a decade so it's not some current phenomenon.

Yeah, I want no part of AI handling air traffic control. The humans have an outstanding safety record.
