LOL. Are you a self-loathing fan of the Cubs? Are you not worthy? You've got a team of the ages. Now, you just need to go take the hardware. You guys got to be favored. I'm rooting for the Rangers and the Cubs are my Reds rivals, but you've got one hell of a team. It's almost not fair.

Cubs will have hands full with Giants or Mets but should make series, if they don't would be disappointing for them. If Rangers had a 3rd starter I would favor them to win it but we don't. Colby gets it together could be a nice run

Red Sox are Red hot. I said Giants-Red Sox World Series in mid-June. Hope I'm somewhat right! Love the MLB playoffs.

Go Cubs!

Its hard being a Cubs fan with the expectation of winning!

We are so used to being let down and "cursed" over the years.

It is kind of like the Huskers for me... when I pick against them, they win! and vice versa.

I am definitely worried about the NL West teams in these playoffs.

I'm afraid it could be an #epicfail

My little brother still hates Steve Bartman with a strong passion...

Some Cubs fans will never get over the curses until we finally win a WS.

Praying that this is FINALLY the year!

The best record in baseball wins the world series much less frequently than one would think.

I am a die hard Cubs fan and they should be favored but nothing is easy.

I don't really care for any of the teams in the playoffs. In that scenario I usually want the thing that will inflict the most pain to happen. That means I'll be rooting for a Cub collapse - hopefully when they're 1 strike away from the NLCS or WS title.

Should be fun. Cubs should be the favorite by a large margin. That said, wipe out the entire regular season, because it no longer matters.

The Dodgers payroll is definitely out of control, but the Cubs have the 5th highest payroll in baseball (which will likely grow every year with success and increased team value), so it might be a bit hyperbolic to throw stones.

Cubs would be pretty good favs over the Mets as they'll have pretty big pitching advantages in 4 of the 5 games. Against the Giants is much closer as the Giants have Cueto, Jeff S. and Bumgarner for 4 of the 5 games. Cubs will have a pretty big bullpen adv against the Giants though.

Yeah I get it but the current team for the most part was put together through scouting, drafting an developing the farm system...the Dodgers just threw money after money and combined with the best pitcher in baseball are in a good position to win it all. ...If the Cubs play at LA for the NLCS there is no way I am going to that cesspool of a stadium to be threatened for 9 innings ....i have looked in to World Series tickets just for fun and a starting point of 3300 is a bit high for me

That being said when is the last time the actual best team in baseball won the Series? I am both excited and terrified of the playoffs ...too bad Lackey got Schwarber killed in April...thats a bat that is needed in October

Edamn good game tonight, Jay fans are a holes but when your hockey team has sucked for so many yrs you act like this. They did the same bs, much worse vs Rangers after the play they didn't like.

If you are going to throw a water bottle at the player catching a fly ball, you could at least hit him so he misses the catch!

Otherwise you get kicked out of the stadium having not helped your team at all! :D

Better give that guy some jail time so others don't think it is permissible!

Apparently the a-hole who threw the can has been identified. Right now he's almost as popular as Steve Bartman.
