Yeah I work in DevOps. We've successfully incorporated LLMs into a few work flows that it shines in. But overall - even the most advanced of models are nowhere near AGI levels of intelligence. The claim we'll have AGI/ASI in the next few years seems like something that keeps getting repeated so the stream of money continues.incredibly aggressive is an understatement. He also said he believes like 90% of all jobs will be replace by AI by 2030 and we'll all live on a universal income with everyone making over $100k. LOL
Again - LLMs are sometimes useful. But they are a looooonnnnngggg way from replacing human devs. Sure they create baseline code quickly. But then we still have to review the code and correct it. It doesnt really save us time in that regard. The only place it does save time is automation of very basic tasks.
