This is real to you. You will even cope and say “what did you expect it to look like”

To me that’s some 1972 shoddy special effects. And who hung back and filmed it? (Someone will be along to google how it was done)

But, I bet a few of you will look at that and think, “holy **** that looks stupid”.

Again, I have to ask. Do you think that the current government is lying to us about anything?

I just need a baseline here to know what you really think.

Ok, so no satellites and no astronauts. Is the earth flat or roundish?

Well, you’ve stumbled upon a great unknown conspiracy. Something the government has held secret for all these years. The next 5 manned moon landings were actually missions to go back and find the camera man they left behind. I’m fairly certain his name was Eddie… he was never found but the Polaroid Swinger Model 20 ($19.95 available at participating dealers) was found. Along with some beautifully preserved photos of what appear to be a bevy of voluptuous women. This was well documented in the 1987 docudrama Amazon Women on the Moon.

You can Google it…

There isn’t an administration that hasn’t lied to the American public. And most aren’t even “white lies”.

Supposedly 80m voted for Joe Biden. They are “normal” people. Thank you for not confusing me with them
We were... talking about the moon landing?

But ugh...yeah no you're right you seem to be totally in touch with reality. No idea what I was seeing.

Please tell me part of your argument isn't that you actually think someone is standing behind the camera.

I can’t even begin. But that was on a set. So yea, there was someone. What you believe is hilarious. You think that is real. You think that is from the moon and you’re making fun of me. A product of years of being so blind that C movie special effects look real to you.

If it was on a set then why bring it up in the first place as some phenomenon that needed explaining?

If you'd like the actual explanation - It may not shock you to find that not only had they figured out rocket engines. But also the ability to take a photo without an operator standing behind said camera. Im pretty confident the latter had been invented like....4 decades prior?

I can google too. You’re not teaching me anything. I notice you won’t comment on how fake it looks. It’s a toy with some basic camera magic to make it look like it’s taking off. My kid would laugh his *** off if I tried to tell him the official version of what this video is portraying. He hasn’t been polluted with years of brain washing, nationalistic propaganda. A child’s honesty is refreshing. You enjoy being lied to and you’re afraid of labels people would give you if you think differently. It makes you weak.

If you believe this and it is clear you do, then you can't get "mad" at others when they don't believe stuff the government tells us.

Disability or unemployment?

I've found most flat earthers share a common trait. Most of them thought they'd get the stars in life - metaphorically. And when that didnt come to pass and they ended up with a relatively pedestrian life, forced to sleep next to some hog on a nightly basis - something in them decides "I need to be unique. Special. Like I know I'm meant to be!".

Congratulations. You have everyone looking at you now. And you indeed look special.

What specific point is it your taking umbrage with now? The quality of the images sent back? Its hard to keep track of your rambling. A moment ago you pivoted to...Joe Biden?

You have your thoughts in order at least, obviously...

You still didn’t address how stupid the video looks. You can’t even come to terms with yourself and now you’re trying to put me down to your level. Label me what you want. It’s you who can’t even be honest with yourself. The moon landings were staged. As an ignorant, dutiful citizen you chose to engage with me to defend the folks that have spent your lifetime convincing you that they matter and to keep funneling your hard earned money to them.

The truth is that you matter. You don’t need them because they want you empty, broke, sick and dependent. I’ll pray that you can figure it out real quick. Anger is the first step of truth. Ending in being self evident. Break free of your programming, friend. Sorry for being harsh, I still resort to being a jerk and weak, as well.

Well first off I haven't made fun of you. I want to know why you so badly think it's fake, what's the proof that makes you believe it so much.

The quality of a video is such a weird stance to me. We're you alive during this time. I grew up in 70s and 80s, my generation pretty much questions everything. I also remember how bad video was back then.

It’s the quality of the special effects. Not the video resolution. I was born in 1981. And that’s not the only thing I question. There’s an entire novel I could write about the moon landings. It’s so fake looking it’s no longer shown to people today. My guess is in the next 10 years they’ll just admit it was propaganda used to assist in the Cold War and at a time the nation needed inspiration

Im well aware of the many, many, MANY lanes in which the government utilizes to leverage corruption and authoritarianism to steal and control from the general public.

That does not mean that every act of man kind is a fabrication. Human flight in and of itself is absurd. Splitting the atom. Photolithogrophy. All of those are clearly very real and are revelations in what humanity is capable of achieving when we set our minds to it.

So while I find your skepticism healthy and even needed - your inability to use that skepticism as an effective tool and instead dismiss everything out of distrust is not a tool - it's actively setting the human race back. I dont care about the debate on why the planet is changing - natural or man made. But it is changing. In another 300 years this planet may be largly inhospitable to humans. We as a species have to aim for the stars. You and I likely wont live to see it but Im not sure that even if you were put on a transport ship and sent to a space colony you'd believe it even then, seeing it with your own two eyes...

Human flight is simple physics and displacement. It was just finding the power to do it outside of helium/hydrogen.

My guess is still within 10 or so years they’ll come clean on the moon landings. A lot of energy to keep up with a lie that is ever so dated and far fetched.

Neither of us are going to “space”

Not gonna touch on the other marvels of human ingenuity?

You're waiting for a conclusion that won't come.

And I agree. Neither of us are going to space. I quite literally said that. In the post you replied to.

You are doing a stunning job of convincing me of your competence and thus bringing me to your side of the aisle. Bravo.

I guess the real question is, how is it SUPPOSED to look?

No one had ever been there, there is not point of reference, wouldn't anything you saw look "fake"

In my mind, aliens look like the alien from the movie Alien(s), but more than likely it will just be some sort of tiny living morning cell.

I dont see cardboard? I see materials not often used in our day to day lives (though I did just literally use Kapton tape this morning, which is pictured in this photo - its a translucent tape that has incredibly high heat resistance - you can buy some for yourself right now).

I also see mylar. Which I assume is the "cheap cardboard" you're referring too. It does indeed look goofy. Again its meant as a shield - its not something you're going to encounter in life often - but once again you can go buy Mylar RIGHT NOW and test it yourself.

So to make sure I have our arguments correct, I could provide you with the mathematical calculations that show how a rocket payload can make it off this Earth (notoriously complex because the ***** about rocket science is the bigger the rocket the more fuel you need but to add fuel the rocket gets bigger which certainly drove NASA scientists mad figuring out) and we are talking math here - an objective truth. You could - if the calculations were flawed - objectively call them out via mathematical counterpoint. Thats what makes mathematics so beautiful. It is without bias.

And your counter to that point is... "ye but this photo looks weird doesnt it?" 😐

No, it’s a stage prop. Poorly constructed of craft paper and tape. But I see you flexing on your perceived intelligence to bolster your argument. But weren’t you the one that thought you could buy a laser to hit the supposed reflector box on the moon? Did you Amazon that yet? Two bodies rotating and expecting a return off the reflector with a few second delay? Depending on where you’re at, assuming Nebraska, the earth spin would be just around 950mph. But we should first find that laser that could hit the moon and not scatter over 237k miles. Might have to try a fancy place like the dark web

How did you plan on doing this since you proposed this proof in the first place? You made it sound simple.

So, if the government lied about something like this, which for the most part would be a pretty big nothing burger, is there a chance that the government could be lying about things that might be more of a big deal??

Which one? Mylar and Kapton tape you could purchase yourself and test their alleged heat shield properties by literally using them to shield something, introducing it to high heat - and seeing if it survives. Note you'd need to add a layer of aluminum to the Kapton tape. Consumer stuff is only rated to like 300 degrees.

As far as interacting with LRRR, while you likely cant afford to purchase the tools needed yourself, you do have direct access to the data from those relay tests - which you are more than welcome to scrutinize.

Or for even cheaper - go buy yourself a good telescope, and head for the beach. You can even give yourself a good vantage point. Watch a boat sail out with said telescope. You will watch the ship eventually disappear, piece by piece - over the horizon as it passes the curve.

Hell. You can set up some sticks and observe the shadows that emerge. Even your cookiest of flat earthers had to admit defeat when traveling to the south pole and realizing ****....the sun DOES behave the way the round Earth models states it should...

Rather than accepting that data however you'll claim it all false, offer only ambiguous retorts like "this picture look funny" while taking the approach of intellectual superiority.

I have to give you a hand, its bold. It completely falls apart against even the most simple of scientific scrutiny - again which you could do with some sticks and a sunny day right now. But then you wouldn't feel so special and unique. And we can't have that...

It must be nice to take a position in an argument where even when met with objective data, you can simply say "nuh uh" and still claim a win. Very impressive.

I feel like you are just a little bit worried to answer honestly.

Dude, really. You started that nonsense so just stop. There's proof on the moon and I don't have to have gone to see it.
