Im proposing soon and thinking about doing it at the Arkansas game. I haven't decided on how or where I'd do it so I thought id see if anyone has any good suggestions.

Walk her up to the Chapel of Memories, stop her under the bell tower and kneel at her feet.

Might as well get something you can hold over her head in the future.

I agree, no matter how sure you think it is she will accept there is always the

possibility she says no. Don't put yourself or her in that position.

Wait and see how good of a bowl game we go to. Assuming we end up in a New Year's Day Bowl, propose there, and then anytime we go to a good bowl you can schedule an engagement anniversary trip.

^This, but time it so you ask at 9:59pm. That way, when she says yes, bells will go off, and then, for the rest of your lives, she can say when you proposed, she heard bells. OR, don't do it at all.

Some dude proposed at Cowbell Yell last Friday. She said yes but looked pissed.

Don't do it during the game or on the video board. The chapel is a great idea.

If you wanted to do it on Friday night I could set you up a tent somewhere and some lights that were powered by generator. Plant a friend to turn the lights on as you walk up to a decorated tailgate in a private place.

Holy crap I'm a genius.

That would be awesome. We're coming up with my brother and his wife but the time of the game decides whether or not we come Friday or Saturday.

I didn't specifically mean at the game, but somewhere on campus more or less. I'm leaning towards getting a cowbell engraved with the words on it and having her find it somewhere. I wish I could get access to the baseball stadium and have it there somewhere.

Ha, this reminds me of a documentary I just watched- Unhung Hero

It was about the guy that had the epic globally viral proposal fail at the UCLA basketball game a few years ago.

Just do it somewhere that has meaning for her or both of you- itll be a story for your lifetime, might as well make it a good one each time you or she tells it.






And watch the documentary- its uncomfortably funny. Just awkward as hell.

Seriously though, I was going to do it on a fishing trip. We're both big fishers and spend lots of time on the water but the weather hasn't been great for it

Good for you Ruckus, I hope Tailgate comes through, and I hope she says yes. You ought to see if you can get the chapel to play Fishin' in The Dark while you propose.
