Maybe it's the constant overexposure and showing her reaction after a touchdown even when vax poster boy was not involved in the play.

Too much focus on her and not on the game.

That's a reach with misogyny. The core football audience doesn't want to keep seeing her over the game, the players, and their reactions.

She's pretty down to earth and keeps the same normie friends for years.
She has said the insults hurt and any celeb that says otherwise is lying.
She said a lot of artists begin because they are seeking recognition, approval etc.
So she's pretty thoughtful and not lost between her ears (aside from NYC indoctrination which she admits got to her,

I don't mind seeing her at all because she never looks all inked/pierced and dressed like a dog's dinner.
She's a throwback to elegant celebs
BUT a lot of people (including me) find the Kelce/Swift thing a little fake.
The whole "Kelce tried to get to see her at her show but wasn't allowed" thing was pretty thin.

Then the "relationship" becomes public just as Kelce starts doing Pfizer ads that claim "Be Like Travis!"
Since then I've many posed pics of Swift kissing the meathead from the side (posed) on his cheek.
Swift is 10x smarter than meathead but she's glad he's taller because she's self conscious about her stretch.
Its a con imo.

I'd rather watch here than Travis and his dumbass commercials.

I can confirm Taylor Swift is not a 1990s-style gangsta rapper, just some bad words are edited out in the radio versions of her songs.

She drops an F-bomb in a song now and then.
Its de rigueur to do so in pop songs these days
Its called keeping things "real and fresh"

I honestly don’t understand why she bothers some people so much.
Because NFL watching guys don't want to see her 32 times in 3 hours when they tuned in to watch football. Think Swifties would enjoy going to her concert only to have her stop singing so they can show videos of Kelce and the Chiefs? It's annoying AF.

But I’m sure part of that could be attributed to the fact that he’s the only pass catching threat on the team.
Rashee Rice was only 46 reception yards behind Kelce for the regular season (Rice did play one more game) and had a higher catch percentage than Kelce. Rice also dominted the stat lines tonight. Yet Kelce is the only catching threat???

Wow!!! I just need to SMH when people jump on the bandwagon of conspiracy theories with out taking the effort to rationally think or do research. The second I listened to the edited clip I thought something was off when the women said "an example would be". It took all of one minute to find multiple articles blowing the theory apart.

But of course Fox "news" had to spin it so the maga crowd has another person to attack. Some of you are so sad, really BAC , be better.

In a world where Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are "role models" for young girls, people hate Taylor Swift because she's shown for 30 seconds after the Chiefs score. In this thread it's because

A. They didn't show Pacheco's TD dance.

B. Kelce does ads for the vaccine.

C. She's a secret military asset.

D. She has caused Kelce to drop passes.

Find the post where someone said they "hate"Taylor Swift. Don't recall Cardi B or Nicki Minaj getting any air time in the middle of NFL games. Correlation does not equal causation.

I’m Italian, I’m from Jersey, so naturally, I like Gandolfini

But if they showed him 74 times during the broadcast of a game I was watching, I would get pissed off pretty quickly

The NFL and their partners are pretty calculated wrt revenue streams. Showing TS constantly may piss off some viewers (but unlikely to the point of not watching). At the same time, look at how much attention and likely more TV eyes it gets in terms of people who might not ordinarily care about KC games. This thread alone is a result of what they are doing.

I’m against showing family members or famous people over and over during a game. It happened with the Giants for a few games as well. Just show the game and replays.
I’m also against interviewing coaches during the game.

I have no issue with Taylor Swift and the hate shouldn’t be directed at her.

I'll take it further.
Get rid of pre and post game shows. Halftime too.
Although I never watch them so let them stay I guess because I don't see them. Why do I care about someone else's analysis? Do they actually have a better idea of what's going to happen? Just let the game play out.

Also announcers.
I listen to most games on mute.
What do they add? I'm watching the game myself. I don't need someone else to say "They are having trouble moving the ball."

Keep sideline reporters for in-game injury updates. But really that can be a text box on screen.

Is there a correlation here to KC or Taylor Swift?
Nope, just evening to score to the post that said "I just need to SMH when people jump on the bandwagon of conspiracy theories with out taking the effort to rationally think or do research" and implied it was only the MAGA crowd. The leftie loonies at MSNBC and CNN do the same crap but we don't hear a peep about that crap.

Did you not want to address THAT post? Takeaway: their are idiot conspiracy theorists following garbage on all of the major news networks. It's not exclusive to one side. The finger pointing is hilarious, and I laugh at all of them. Is that OK?

The poor coaches that have to in game inane questions from sideline reporters. Maybe "poor" is the wrong word when they are making millions. Team X is down 45-0 at the half: Reporter: Coach X, what does your team need to do in the second half?

I generally try to watch NFL games on 30 minute delay (my cable has the feature of auto DVR so I can rewind if the same channel has been on for a while). This allows me to FF through commercials, breaks etc as well as halftime commentary and sideline interviews). If I catch up to live it also lets me take a break. I do keep the announcers & sound on as sometimes they point out details I may .ot be aware of ...i.e....if a certain player is out of the game etc.

That post about Taylor Swift being a government agent. At least it has relevance.

Back in 1980 NBC did a broadcast of a Jets/Dolphins game with no announcers. They had all the graphics, replays, etc of a normal game but there was no useless noise coming from the booth. They did turn up the volume on the PA announcer so you got all the vital info there.
I remember watching that game thinking "This isn't so bad."

Absolutely right. The entire broadcast, no, actually the entire sport including college is entertainment programming. The game is almost secondary. Does anybody care what Holly Rowe or Bill Cowher has to say ? Whether it’s constant Taylor Swift or Nick Saban or Aaron Rodgers talk, it shouldn’t bother you.

The biggest disgrace of all is fan outrage over a football player who knelt during the anthem. Even when they didn’t see it on TV, knowing it was occurring ruined the game for them.

To these people I say, get an effin life. What a guy does on the sideline before a game shouldn’t matter to watching the game itself.

I have a friend that I work with in the summer that's a huge Swifty. Like mega-huge since Taylor was little. They 2 of them are similar in age so she feels they have this bond or whatever.

Anyway, she writes her a letter about how much of an inspiration she is. It's very well written and impactful. . Well guess what Taylor's people contact her back and invite her to an album premiere party in NYC. She goes with a friend, there's a bunch of random people her age there. It's a typical high end NYC apartment. Anyway, they're there and freakin' Taylor Swift is there, greeting everyone. It was her own apartment or one that she rented while in the city. She literally hung out with these kids while they listened to her new album, took pictures with her and then everyone left, like a normal college hangout.

Between that and the other things I've read about her, I have nothing but respect for her. For once, young girls have a role model that teaches about self respect, empowerment and inner strength. Better than the a$$ shakers who care more about their image than self respect, IMO.

Maybe because she’s some alleged environmentalist and yet her carbon footprint in just ONE private jaunt to scream for her current cock and balls is bigger than the average Americans for an entire year.

I don’t care…drill baby drill…but the annoying double standards some get away with p/o people (like when the climate talks featured a menu full of steak).

🤭

Drill baby drill? You do know that 2023 was the hottest year on record ever? But if you watch the Fake Obnoxious Xenophobic news, it's either not believed, or excused.

Because she believes in something, but is not perfect in how she lives her life, is not as reason to hate someone. How many people live perfect, consistent lives?

It's all about the $$$$, and NFL and clothing makers should monetize this to the max. There's nothing wrong with any of that.

Taylor is supporting small women owned businesses. Every week she shows up with some new Chiefs gear hand made by a small business.
The coat
The beanie
The bracelets

The NFL has gained more fans because of her. They should be rolling out a red carpet for her.

She's also not a diva. She was handing out $100 tips a few games ago to the guys running drinks to the suite. ( She also donated serious amounts of money to food banks and shelters in every city of her Eras tour)

Last night she was actually cleaning up in the suite.

Cornelia Street was where her rental was and she wrote a song about it.
She grew-up a trad girl and still is for most part
I've learned not to take the NYC part too serious

Unfortunately, these backstories almost never make the "popular" silly news channels like Fox News and MSNBC-because---Ta Dah!, good deeds and being a savvy businesswomen does not generate clicks and rile up their bases of narrow-minded viewers or followers.

Good for TS.

Every year is called "the hottest ever."
Its become very obvious kooks have been running the colleges, non-profits and agencies (often full of Chinese and Russian money meant to get America to self-destruct).
Lots of money in the con and some grifters love agitating for a "crisis" that they dont have to "fix" for decades

2017 Was One of the Hottest Years on

Not Even Close: 2012 Was Hottest Ever in U.S.

2010 Ties as Hottest Year on Record

1999 the hottest year of the millennium

Too much focus on her and not on the game. When Pacheco scored a TD earlier this season, instead of showing his TD dance, the camera panned to her with her mouth gaping wide open. It's not necessarily hate, but it's like seeing the same annoying commercial over and over again that you don't want to see again.

That's a reach with misogyny. The core football audience doesn't want to keep seeing her over the game, the players, and their reactions. Once in a while during the game, fine. But it seems that she is bigger than the game. I would not know a Taylor Swift song if I heard it. I don't think or care about her or legions of other pop stars. When I watch a football game, I want to see the football game. If she was the star of the halftime show, fine, would be interesting to see. I might even become a fan.
Exactly. The coverage of NFL games is already bad. This element makes it unwatchable. It's not about misogyny. It's about tuning into an NFL game without getting an episode of Access Hollywood. How would Swift fans feel if they went to see her movie and got clips of a random NFL game instead?
