Looks like ( from what I've seen) Caesars Sportsbook has Chestnut a -3000 favorite (risk $3,000 to win $100)
edited to add : would have won that $100 if put a 3 grand bet down
He gobbled down 63 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes winning again this year

The greatest American athlete keeps the title. He only needed to down 63 this year. Next closest was 43.

Chestnut may be the greatest athlete who ever lived.
He is 10X better than Brady and Tiger Woods, and Lebron, yet no one knows this great athlete.
Do you know how hard it is to eat one hot dog? This is the most disgusting food ever invented.

Am I the only one that thinks that the contestants should have to eat the hot dogs on the buns while competing in the contest?

I think it would make it better and not look as disgusting as it looks the way it goes on now? I realize that it would cut way down on the amount eaten.......

Best of Luck,
Groz

Chestnut should remember that James Gandolfini and John Candy both died after a night of gluttony.

Youre basically playing russian roulette with your cardiovascular system when you consume 63 hot dogs.

Hahaha! Really?

Why do you hate America so?

This dude's blood pressure must have skyrocketed after all that ramen/sodium. That video was absolutely disgusting!! I wish I had turned the sound off (and I only watched a total of about 30 seconds as I skimmed through it).

Are these athletes tested for drugs before the eating contest? Also, do they also get scanned to make sure they have not added some extra storage facility in their gut.

Can the GOAT win his 17th title (and 9 in a row)? We will find out today at noon on ESPN2. Humid and warm conditions so I don't expect any records. Hopefully no reversal of fortunes from his competitors.

Currently delayed due to lightning. I would have expected #'s to have been all over this. 😀

I don't bet either but would go with the under as well. 73 sounds like the right number for today.

2 hour delay. Wonder if it will make a difference. Did they snack in between?
