Announcement to be made tomorrow per LJS. 220,000 SF new free standing store and 1,000 stall parking garage.

Should be interesting watching that take shape and additional items they'll carry.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a full lineup of UCF gear in Lincoln stores.
Seriously? Even considering Oregon is a popular team outside of its own region anyway, I don't think the fact Scott Frost was there made them that much more popular around here. Why would you think him being at UCF is going to make a bunch of people start caring enough about a mid-major conference school over 1,000 miles away to start buying their apparel?

It was a joke. But...

Are you kidding? The number one complaint around here is that Mike Riley needs to run the ball more. The 2nd complaint is that he needs more in-state kids and walk-ons and Nebraska flavor. But its a darn shame that all these Nebraska kids are walking around Lincoln HS with Oregon hats on. Never would have happened in the 80's or 90's. Or that Daishon Neal really was going to make the state sweat about leaving state for Oregon. Or there's basically a game thread for Oregon on every message board following what Frost is or isn't doing offensively and why its oh so better than what Beck and now Langsdorf are doing.

Yah, we don't care about Oregon at all. And I can certainly see us not caring about UCF at all, even though there are several folks who are already clamoring to see Scott in training wheels/Husker tryout mode. ;)

If I was the store manager in Lincoln, I'd carry every damn piece of UCF apparel that had a Frost reference on it LOL.

I would say now that Frost is gone, Husker fandom will give two rats patooties about Oregon now. Other than to watch for a potential collapse or whatever. I think its a pretty sure bet that every bit of what UCF does, from salary pool proportions to the coaching choices to recruiting, to messaging to x's and o's will be dissected on here the next few years.

And there will be more than a few people who will claim that UCF was always their favorite mid major and Frost now gives them the excuse to dedicate more time to picking up that "forgotten" forbidden love. ;)

Kids wearing Oregon hats these days has absolutely zero to do with Scott Frost being there. If you want to live in the 80's or 90's them kids these days don't like Starter jackets and hats any longer.

Kids these days don't remember the "glory days". They go with the hot team, flashy uni's, etc. Can you blame them? Nope. Blame the program leadership.
