Good song by Bar Italia, heard on altrok, a great station out of Brookdale Community college, otherwise known as UCLA- the University of Central Lincroft Area.

DJ-ed mildone's Halloween party last night and included the following newish songs that I haven't posted in this thread before...

First one is Take Me With You by Welsh band Neck Deep, who have been around for awhile. Good pop-punk in the Blink 182 vein.

Next up is Back on 74 by UK group Jungle, which is an infectious dance-pop-R&B mix with a very cool video with some great dancing and choreography in it. Thought I posted a song of theirs from a couple of years ago in one of these threads, but don't see it (was probably just on FB).

And third is Youth Lagoon's song Rabbit, a real indie earworm (the album got an 8.3 from Pitchfork, which is very high praise from them).

Forgot to post this one last night: Mitski's exploding viral Tik-Tok hit country-ish ballad, My Love, Mine All Mine, which is also zooming up the mainstream charts worldwide. Pretty cool for a Japanese-American girl. The song is from her 7th album and she's generally only been played on Indie rock channels, so her breakthrough with this song is annoying to her base fans in some ways as all of these "new" fans don't really know her earlier work much.

Her work has been hit or miss for me, but happy to see her success. We got to see her about 5 years ago, opening for Screaming Females at Asbury Lanes - she was pretty good, but we were bigger fans of Screaming Females (and probably still are). My favorite song of hers is Your Best American Girl from 2016. Sexy video, too, which I never saw until today, lol.

I like Cannons but I have to admit their songs are kinda samey in that hypno kinda way.
But they are all good.
Joy got married last year and now she has a boyfriend
That "love you always" vibe is in there but hey lol

Yeah i know what you mean...a general vibe but repetitive. I would like to see them try to branch a little heavier next release

New video from Judas Priest. The Metal God rules.

New from Scott Stapp (Creed). He's looking great in the promo picture (not in video):

I'm surprised nobody has posted the latest Stones single, "Sweet Sounds of Heaven." IMO, it's the best thing they've done since probably Some Girls and maybe even back to Exile on Main St. It's a throwback to their blues/gospel influences and roots and features an incredible duet by Mick and Lady Gaga over top of a driving emotional rollercoaster of rhythm supplied by Keith, Ronnie, Steve Jordan on drums and Stevie Wonder on keys.

It was essentially recorded live (read the review below), which can often make for amazing unexpected twists and this has one as the last 2 minute reprise (after 5 minutes of sweet sound) was completely unscripted and it soars. That's also why I'm linking the live performance in NYC from about a month ago, which is amazing. It's simply a fantastic song and this is coming from someone who has largely disparaged or ignored anything the band has done since 1980. This WILL be on my NYE playlist.
