Carlos Beltran confimed to go into the HoF with Mets cap.
Contrary to popular belief, the player does not decide what cap he wears. The Hall does. The Hall may act according to the player's wishes, but not necessarily. Gary Carter reportedly wanted to go in as a Met and was overruled.

The HoF decides but uses the players input. Beltran confirmed today with the HoF that he will go in as a Met.

Yeah- that would have been like if Seaver told them he wanted to go in as a Red or WhiteSox...At least Beltran played almost exactly the same as a Royal and a Met...

Well he also says he isn't sure if Pena will be in the DSL this year or not but the Mets have already announced he will be stateside. You can't write about Mets prospects and expect to be taken seriously if you can't get some of the facts straight.

Also having Wenninger 39 in our system wow that's bad. This guy is a joke.
Agree. The only comment he made about Wenninger, who I really like, is “some others will rank him higher”.

No sh*t! He’ll be ranked higher because he’s better than those other guys.
