Ah. So she’s a performer, not just famous for being a football player’s GF. 😀

Its funny that one of her first hits (2008) was about a crush she had on a high school football player.
Doing HS in Tennessee probably didn't hurt

I watched a couple of full Eras gigs on YT and she has a specific way of moving in a stadium gig.
As a student of art history, I was aware that sculptors making figures to be set high up (like Bernini's saints in St Peter's colonnade) would exaggerate their features and poses.
Swift does the same thing - as I am sure Beyonce and others do in stadiums.
From center of the field to the upper decks has to be about same distance 3 residential blocks in my town

I don’t listen to radio, satellite or otherwise. Don’t much like most pop music. So I’ve never heard/seen her sing. At least not that I’m aware. I actually have no idea if I’d like it or not, but guessing probably not so much.

It’s possible @RU848789 has played songs of hers at various parties or events he’s DJ’d that I’ve hosted or attended. But if he did, I’d never know it.

So, to me, her claim to fame (in concert with the NFL game producers/directors, no pun intended) is how much she is irritating grouchy people during NFL game broadcasts. 🙂

I like her just for the fact that she's irritating said grouchy people.

There's usually 1 TS song on any party playlist you've heard me play, going back at least 10 years, so that's likely at least 25-30 times you've heard a TS song and I've probably had about 10 of her songs played over that time (some were played 2-4x over the years), so yeah, you've heard her.

My guess is you wouldn't like most of her music as you're not a huge pop fan, but some are very catchy and she has had hits in many genres (while never abandoning pop elements in those forays). Perhaps we could play all TS music at your Super Bowl party, especially if the Chiefs are in it...

What do you think happened to those KC fans ? Drug overdose? Poisoning?

No idea and not sure why you'd ask me - haven't even heard of it until about 2 minutes ago when I saw your post. Generally, in situations like this, many of the initial hot takes are wrong and waiting for some testing/police work is the way to go.

It’s in the thread. You just posted in it. So I asked.

I know you’re not an expert but it’s a very unusual and tragic event.

Never!

I'm gonna play nothing but TOOL songs at super high volume until the game starts, then during halftime, then again after the game when my dealer arrives with all the hookers.

It's tragic, due to them being relatively young. But how do you know it's unusual?

About 8000 people die in the US every day. We have no way of knowing what the circumstances are in those 8000 in all those deaths. We also do not know the exact circumstances in this case.

Without that information, we cannot know how usual or unusual these two deaths are. And what's the value in speculating?

Love Tool - have seen them a couple of times and they bring it. How about a mix of Taylor, Tool and Talking Heads, who I know you love. 3 Ts FTW.

No way The guy in the house didn’t know they were out there

Homeowner's friend's cars were still parked outside the house.
I suppose its possible dudes were doing drugs laced with Fentanyl and they didn't know it.
Five Army cadets ODed on break in Florida doing drugs they didn't know was laced with Fentanyl.
Actually three ODed from partaking and two others ODed trying to help them (breathing drug in).
Fentanyl or heroin OD makes people blackout and they stop breathing.
Fentanyl and other drugs are also found in weed despite pot groups claiming its a myth.
Dudes could have gone outside to smoke
Maybe they passed-out in the house and were dragged out
There is also a new drug more potent that Fentanyl

NFL under suspicion over ref picked for Chiefs vs. Ravens AFC Championship: Is Taylor Swift ‘fix’ in?

According to Sharp, home teams have a 55.4 win percentage since Smith entered the league as a referee. That number drops to 40.8% when Smith refs the game.

The disparity between Smith and the other referees is steep when factoring in point spread.

Isn't a procedure for ref selection that doesn't involve TS?

Four Chiefs starters miss practice ahead of AFC Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs missed four starters at Wednesday’s practice ahead of the AFC Championship.

Running back Isiah Pacheco (toe), offensive guards Trey Smith (illness) and Joe Thuney, safety Mike Edwards (concussion), and wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) all missed practice ahead of Sunday’s clash with the Baltimore Ravens.

Sharp always has a conspiracy he’s fighting for. He’s the guy trying to outlaw something called the hip drop tackle. That being said this one will be fun to follow along with.

The dad makes an entirely irresponsible baseless accusation. Even if he wound up eventually being right about it, at this stage, he has no proof, no evidence. It's nothing more than wild supposition.

Yet the NYP decides to produce an irresponsible article that broadcasts the dad's baseless accusation. And now you're participating in the viral spread of an irresponsible article about a grieving dad's baseless accusation?

None of us actually know any of the actors in that sad little drama. But in today's American culture, minding one's own business is frowned upon while rumor-mongering is not only tolerated, it's broadly encouraged.

Getting close to time for the apes to take over. 🙂

The article is cringe-worthy on so many levels (especially when you consider that he’s using scamdicapper Warren Sharp as some expert). Goes back to so many in the news media (especially at NJ.com) trying to make news stories, not report on them.

Baltimore is definitely overthinking this game.

They have a good running game. Kansas City has shown some trouble against the run. Baltimore is running for 5.9 yds a carry in the first half.

They have only had 8 rushing attempts at halftime.
