Devils will be fine. You don't win every game and healthy Hughes = playoffs.
Of course we are, but there is nothing anyone can do about injuries and sadly it looks like McLeod is a cretin, who took part in and enabled a gang rape. So I blame Fitz to a point, for that one, because he tipped his hand by signing him for 1 year. McLeod got the second charge because he was the one who 1st talked the girl into going to the room. As such he was the ringleader!
That is cheating. The whole idea of this OUTDOOR game is to get back to its roots. To play pond hockey. Pond hockey is played outside in the cold. The skin must feel cold air to appreciate the game. And that includes the fans. That is part of the experience. In a climate-controlled press box? Why even go? Now tell me that you will be tailgating inside also. Yikes. Enjoy the game..........if you can.
That's the dumbest thing ever. I love whenever work enables me to attend (games esp in box) and your response is pure jealousy.
That said, it was quite the humble brag so I do get where you're coming from.
Got a 35 person party bus departing from my house in Colonia 1pm. Another 20 meeting at the tailgate in L lot . DJ , food , tents and heaters . Majority of us sitting in 237 club seats . Access to the warm clubs in between periods . Should be a great time
I was thinking Rags fans that wanted to tailgate.
I know no one likes Philly in Colonia/Rahway/Woodbridge
One was invited but he didn’t want to be tortured for 10+ hours . Wise decision on his part

Didn’t play especially well, the ice didn’t seem to help, but most important aspect is continued strong play in net.
Confident the on ice play will come around. If the solid goaltending keeps up we will go on a run.

Nice win by the Devils tonight! Weather was cool and got colder. The tailgating was good and the home team won. I'd say the day was a success.

The fanfest was also good. Great day all around. Great Jersey music at the fanfest and in the stadium.
That was the worst opening possible
A scrub backup QB on a crap team, who’s a Rags fan, talking about a Rags Game-6 win in the ECF , while we hoisted the Cup twice in that arena.
I liked the live band goal song.
anyone want to hear Max Weinberg talk that much? At least he’s a long time Devils fan.
PK reading the starting lineup was great. He’s our biggest fan on ABC/ESPN.
As for the game, got the vital two points. Nico H set the tone by burying the early chance.
Nico D was very solid again.
I don’t think we played very well in front of him TBH, many giveaways.
LOVED Smith, Bahl, Miller, a few others not taking **** and pushing back on Philly players.
Getting huge goals from Smith and Nate made me happy, especially on a night when Jack wasn’t a positive factor.
It sure looked like we had a big majority in the stands too , I wish I was there for old times sake at the meadowlands tailgating and yelling Flyers Suck at the folks from the Philthadelphia region.
Would be nice for the Rags to win today in regulation, standings bruh.

I've never been intrigued by the outdoor games, and was wary of our ability to fill the stadium, but crowd looked great, and the idea of a full day tailgate sounds fun.
This probably sets us up for another one in the not too distant.
We arrived about 5:15 ish and figured we'd enjoy a few pre game drinks and head in for puck drop. I really wasn't expecting the masses of tailgaiters who were set up and fully engaged in the lots. It was an impressive sight to say the least. We sat corner in the 200's and the viewing was good. Plus we had the indoor/heated reprieve from the weather during intermission which was nice. I thought the crowd was awesome. Maybe 30-35% ish Flyer fans based on the loudness of the pregame, Flyers cheer . Fortunately they didn't have much to cheer for as the Devils took it to them. Bonus game today as the Isles play the Rags.
I don't think it will happen, but for the opening today Disney/ABC should have Adam Henrique. Turn about is fair play.That was the worst opening possible

Last night simply kept us alive. I love the new physicality, this is what I expected all year, I hope we didn't turn it on too late.
Daws looks like he is our goalie of the future. There are reports that Fitz is talking to Calgary again about Markstrom. Depending on what we give up it may be good, as he can mentor Daws.
I know the points but I just can't root for the Rangers. Besides every freaking time I have ever pulled for them in a game like today, they lose

Was there with my wife and son. Our seats were in a corner of the stadium, Sec. 207A, on the end of the ice where the stage was that The Jonas brothers played on . We were in the 2nd level. We all agreed that the viewing from these seats was better than expected. The tickets cost about $120 a piece. Worth the price. The lots opened at 2pm. We were on line to get into the lots about 20 minutes before hand. The fan fest started at 2:30. We were online about 10 minutes early for that also. Stayed at the fanfest for about 2 hours and went back to the car to tailgate. I would say about 50,000 Devil fans and 20,000 Philly fans. A GREAT showing by Devil fans. After the game as we left the stadium, we walked past a souvenir stand, ALL the Devils stuff was sold out, some Flyer stuff was still there. Hope that they do it again! It bought back A LOT of great memories of games at the Meadowlands and tailgating before the games.
