Good. Glad I was wrong. But after the way they have blown games against MUCH weaker teams such as the Sharks, Bluejackets, Islanders, Rangers, ETC, can you blame me for feeling the way I did? My family and I went Thursday, during the 2nd intermission, I told my wife if they go down 3-0 we were leaving, we left with 15 minutes to go. 2nd game we left early this year because they were not playing like they cared. They had a total of 15 shots and gave up FORTY. When we left in the 3rd, they only had 8 shots on goal. This is not the 1st time they have done this during the season. The Penguins game? 7 shootout rounds to win? SEVEN against a crappy team. They have not won 4 games in a row this season, BUT since Christmas they have 2, 4 game losing streaks. Do you really expect anyone with a head on their shoulders to believe that they can accomplish ANYTHING in the playoffs if they make it? Again, hope I am wrong! On Thursday before the game, my wife, son and I were at a pre-game event and spoke to our ticket salesperson, she said we will be given the chance to buy playoff tics. before the general public. I hope to be able to give her the cash, my son hasn't been to a playoff game yet.
They need to get going again, need to get healthy, need to make a couple moves, but they are still 3rd in the division, tied for 4th in the conf. We are closer to 2nd in the conf then we are to not making the playoffs.
Game 1 was great. Coming in there seemed to be a low level buzz from hockey fans, hopefully last nights game ramps that up, and hopefully tonights game ratchets it up even moreso.

Look into those shots, points and goals. The ones vs rangers were mostly breakaways from cherry picking/floating. Hes a non-factor when the games get heavy, he shies away from all contact
