A public figure died...show some compassion for her family and take a 5 minute break from everything being seen through political lenses.

You're right in implying none of knew her and shouldn't care one way or another, but since she was someone that had people care for her , out of respect for those affected personally by her death a little compassion by us would be a nice gesture .
But I understand there are those who feel politics come before compassion and see life and or death in that context and praise the deceased or condemn them because of political ideology.
Hopefully those that tend to see the recently deceased that way and make sure the way condolences are given have a politicle message put in to put the person down never have their loved ones see he/she sucked when someone is discussing their passing

I mean even if she was sick for some time, wasn’t the death somewhat sudden? Otherwise shouldn’t the actual Governor have been around so she could have not been assuming his role if she was on her deathbed ?
exactly...she was the FREAKIN INTERIM GOVERNOR...she may have had an illness but yes she literally died suddenly, they were not expecting this

I've read where she has been having health problems for a couple of months.
But also seen headlines of her unexpectedly dying from a undisclosed illness.
Politicians on the left or right will stay at their position and be temporary replacements in higher positions even when ill, if they feel they can handel the health problem they had.
I can't say you're wrong to think and say she died suddenly, because it seemed that way to anyone that didn't know she wasn't feeling well for months and I read that she cut down public apperiences, but nothing I read said anything about not making some public appearances..
