I want a pair of Crispi Summit II GTX hunting boots. Old boots wore out and fell apart.

I need to try on a pair of those. This might be added to my list.
Have a pair for work and love them. 2 years old and can’t hardly tell . About to buy another pair for an upcoming elk hunt next year. Trying to decide between the guides and nevadas and insulated or not

I have a 5 foot long chunk of a black walnut tree in storage. It’s been sitting for 8 years. It is pretty big so I may wait a few more years before getting someone to cut blanks out of it to build a few guns.
About 20 years ago I planted 10 acres of Black Walnut trees. I knew I’d never live long en to see them mature but some day someone is going to appreciate me.

what kind are you looking at? I haven't bought new clubs in a decade (or two). With all the new tech I see other people using, my old taylor mades make me feel like I'm playing with 70's blades and persimmons these days.
My irons are from probably 17 years ago but were supposedly state of the art when I bought them. Haven't really played the past few years and I played with someone else's clubs the other day and I got into trouble several times because I hit the ball about 10 yds further than I expected. I'm assuming I didn't suddenly swing harder or better, so I'm assuming that I basically got an extra club length from having newer better technology. These weren't anything special either. Just an off the rack set of Cobra clubs. It's possible they just had lower lofts than my clubs for each club or there was some tradeoff I couldn't pick up on because I haven't been playing (like maybe more flexible shafts), but it's making me think I have some distance I can buy if I shell out for new irons.

Pay attention to the degrees of loft. In order to be longer in distance a lot of manufacturers just moved the number on clubs one loft lower. What used to be a seven iron is now the same loft as a new 8 iron.

Been a watch guy since I was a teenager. Got my first rolex at 41 for myself for Christmas. My dream watch is the gold champagne dial “presidential” day date but a good condition from the mid 80s is $20k ish. A lil rich for my blood but ended up on a mint condition 116233 2-tone champagne roman dial. The super jubilee bracelet is sweet and I love the look of the Roman dial. Got a complete set with box, papers, & hang tags. There was a certain level of achievement I wanted to get to before doing it and here we are…
