That is only since they kept stats. If you ever actually visited the original hwy57 Shed you will notice about twenty other trophies piled in amongst all the crap. BBQ is all about personal preference and the luck of the draw be it fresh or reheated. All I am saying is that the quality is there 95% of the time. I would rank Sonnys as number two, because they have plenty of great stuff on and off their menu, and Pettys 3. Dooey is just nestalgic, although the BBQ is good. I would also say that the shed is set to lose points if they open another Zaxby looking setup like they did in destin. That one is terrible.

If you miss BBQ from Memphis, Texas, Mississippi, Carolina, or wherever else it's assumed to be better (Nola is not a BBQ town by any means) try The Joint down in the Bywater. The ribs might be the best I've ever had. Fantastic dry rub on thick *** meat that falls right off the bone. Order a half rack with some baked beans and mac n' cheese. If you don't have a heart attack from the calories or sheer joy of flavor, you can thank me later.

13th Street BBQ...damn good ribs and sandwiches, but they don't get the concept of "pulled" pork...and I can't get used to the funky yellow sauce. The meat is excellent, though...

that crap they have in Brandon. That ****'s nasty. I wish there was a dam good BBQ place in the Jackson area. I've been to a few and they're just not that good. Course it may be that I picked the bad places and it soured me on BBQ joints around here. Now I did like Red Hot and Blue. Good food and alot of fun. Never have understood why they closed the doors. Dam, ya'll gonna make me have to cook a Briskett this weekend

based out of Florida (draw your own conclusions there). The one in Starkville is most definitely not. Maybe the name change is a good thing-but to quote Michael Bolton in Office Space "why should I have to change my name, he's the one who sucks!"
