I don't think I ever wanted to wear one, but I know I wouldn't have been allowed. In hindsight kind of crazy looking back on the number of Jr. High kids from affluent families that went to church that wore these shirts. Our school actually had to clarify that they weren't permitted under the dress code, I guess since it didn't specifically state "no blatant references to penises and sex" I guess.

Not sure why, but I just remembered this T-shirt line from the 90's. We really are the best generation
Wow. Thats a blast from the past. My mother would have made sure those got lost in the wash so I never had any. But I went to school with a boy that I think had every single one.

however... I did rock a few of these in late elementary school - early junior high:

I was in this camp as well. I had to hide my Bud-weis-er frogs t-shirt from my mother. She eventually found it and kept it. She gave it back to me when I went to State; it no longer fit.

I can't imagine the lectures and life lessons I would've been subjected to if she'd have found a Big Johnson shirt. My father would tell me I wasn't white trash.

I heard that a lot. Enough that you'd have to wonder if you'd really have to tell somebody that much if they weren't really white trash at heart.

My buddy wore them almost every day. His parents were divorced and his dad would buy them if he saw them. Between Gadzooks and Spencer’s, lots of $$ were spent. Don’t ever remember these being at the Walmarts though

Sheesh boys. I don't think wearing a Big Johnson T-shirt has anything to do with white trash. It was just funny for hormonal little 13-14 boys that liked dirty joke and dreamed of getting laid...

Imagine if your mother's new about all the horrible places you jerked off, the things you jerked off to, and the stuff you jerked off on.

First I ever heard of them was when I was casually friends with a girl whose last name was Johnson. I got tired of her big Johnson jokes. Never had the desire to wear one.

I said that's what my father thought of them. Of course I wanted one as a hormonal pubescent. And like a lot of things, it turns out he was correct.

I think those were a little after my time. I never could bring myself to go out in public with stuff like that anyway. I remember bringing home a “Van Halen Kicks ***” shirt and my dad, a connoisseur of professional cussing himself, lost his mind at the idea of me wearing it.

Spring break ‘92
Fort Walton Beach
Cash’s bumper stickers (everybody noticed when you pulled up to school on the Monday after spring break with one of those on your bumper - the staff at cash’s would put them on every car in the parking lot)
Also remember the CRDIX t-shirts as well
