Going to be in Royal Oak, Michigan (just North of Detroit) for a golf tournament for the next several days. Wanted to check to see if anyone here is familiar with that area and can recommend any restaurants close by, always prefer something local. Also wondering if there are any unique foods to this area that we should try? Thanks for any help!

Louis Pizza in Hazel Park, purchased alot of equipment from this area, best Detroit Style Pizza in the city.

Dude, you do realize 99% of us live within 6 hours or Starkvegas? A "big" trip is Orange Beach, Nashville, Gatlinburg or Dallas. Other than @PooPopsBaldHead that is.

A bit out of your way, but Rochester Brunch House is a very good restaurant in an old church. So that’s pretty cool.
