This is great news and thanks for posting. As a father of two boys diagnosed with ASD, it has been frustrating to watch most of the oxygen on this issue get sucked up by fighting over the cause. It is great to see Rutgers get involved in helping the under-served population of kids who are trying to function in a world set up under the assumption that all people have the skills some ASD kids lack.

These things make me very proud of my alma mater and give me tremendous hope for potential opportunities for kids (like mine) diagnosed with ASD.

That's positive, forward thinking. So much attention to children (and rightfully so) but what happens when they grow up? I know kids with autism and the dreams of their parents is to live normal lives.

APPLAUSE ALL AROUND!

One of the truly tragic things is seeing adults with autism who age out of the system and regress. This program will help many people who need it.
