Will C Spire be getting the Samsung Galaxy II or the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx? Thinking about upgrading my phone, but want to wait and get something worth it. My mom and sister both have the original Galaxy and love them. Makes me wish I had waited to switch service and gotten one.

I wouldn't count on any game breaking new phone from CSpire for a while. No inside knowledge on this since I don't work there anymore but I don't think they are going to have 4G until later this year so they probably aren't going to be rolling out 4G phones until then. I'd expect a ton of new phones late in the year (iPhone 5 and new 4G phones).

...for cell phone manufacturers. They are usually a year or more late in getting phones. And most hot phones will never be carried by them.

I have no idea how they pulled off getting the iPhone. Regardless, having iPhones might give them leverage in getting other top phones...but I wouldn't count on it.

There's probably a greater chance that they get bought out by sprint or Verizon. I fully expect that to happen eventually. Probably not until after the Creekmores keel over.

actually expired because 4G would be here by then. I found a 4G coverage map online and there is so little coverage around the country now that I didn't see any reason to wait. The only areas showing in MS were Tupelo and Starville. If I remember that was a Verizon map but if they don't have much doubt many other people do either. The only areas shown were typically small dots i.e. city areas only, nothing along interstates at all.

has 4G in the Huntsville area. In fact, unless I'm mistaken, it was the first in the nation when they inaugurated the service. Perhaps it was just first day service along with other areas.<div>
</div><div>I'd thought about getting an iPhone (everybody seems to have one) but they're only 3G at the moment. Supposedly the iPhone 5 will be 4G but nobody seems to know when it will come out.</div>
