I have enjoyed this new series and the new season, BUT

They seem to like to have many stories reminiscent on the original series which is only a few years in the future. So is it bothersome that their Gorn aren't plodding bipedal alligators? Spock is bedding woman after woman better than James T Kirk? They are meeting characters introduced in the original as new contacts like Trelane and his father? And that's not even touching the technology is so far advanced that TOS is the Dark Ages.

I would have probably done it a little differently if I were the showrunner, but it's so much better than Discovery and Picard (both of which are probably better than the upcoming Starfleet Academy series will be, sadly) that I won't complain too hard. It's very entertaining.

Agreed. I just hope they don't change too much of the established mythology.
