OT Staying at Gulf Place on 30A this weekend

Can play a discounted round at Hombre golf course in Panama City or Santa Rosa Club at $20 more, Hombre is a bit of a drive. Anybody play either? And is there any do not miss spots around the 30A not in the Bud and Alley price range.

Redbar at Grayton is the best food for the money.

$30 per head and they have oyster and beer specials early afternoon.

Go to Seaside and eat at the Taco Bar or Pizza Bar as well.

If you want something less than bud and alleys then play Hombre and eat at the Olive Garden after....if you want more than bud and alleys then play Santa Rosa and eat at the V in Seagrove

Couple of cool places that aren't as expensive.
Stinkys Fish Camp
Hurricane Oyster Bar
Angelina's. Good pizza if you want to grab it to go or want a change from seafood.
Elmo's. Has a all you can eat crab legs special that's bad ***. FYI place is cash only.
Shades at the Loop. Most bartenders are smoking hot, great variety of draft beers if your into that.
Cowgirl Kitchen. Great under the radar place.

I would play Santa Rosa over Hombre just cause of the drive. Played both many times and they are equally nice. Santa Rosa has slightly better greens traditionally.

Hombre all day. Consider me an expert. I don't like the Santa Rosa Golf Club, too many undeveloped parts of the course that looks like a goat ranch. Hombre is one of the nicest for the money out there.

On the food, Red Bar is the tourist favorite. Try Nick's if you want to donate your money directly to the Auburn football program. All the seafood stuff is the same. PM me and give out the best spots, I don't want to divulge my secret gems to the public.

Whiskey Bravo is a newer place in Sea Grove. Great food. Red Bar is a classic but too long of a wait. Hurricane Oyster has disappointed me more than once, and I'm done there except for happy hour. Shorty's in Grayton is a nice laid back place in the afternoon before the band cranks up. I like Goat Feathers for seafood.

Play at Santa Rosa. It's 5 min from Gulf Place...

There is a new super there came from AAC. Quirky but fun track, good greens, Tif-Eagle.
