Seriously? Ted is funny. Its like watching FG. May not be the greatest movie but

cannot be the worst. Its an episode of Family Guy. How can you be surprised when its like Family Guy?

Pennies from Heaven.

Hard to believe Steve Martin kept a career after that one pretty early on.

Critical Condition (worst movie movie) & Big Bad Love (worst film festival movie)

The first movie is Richard Pryor's worst movie by far. The second movie is based on Larry Brown's short stories - and I was disappointed as I love Larry Brown's work.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

Absolutely horrendous. I love good intrigue movies with intricate plots. I went to see it in the theater with a group of pretty smart people and we all left it shaking our heads at how bad it was.

Am a big Larry Brown fan as well (RIP) but actually enjoyed BBL but know it got hammered by critics.

Freddie Got Fingered. I think I lost part of my soul watching that one.

Avatar is second. I went with some friends and seriously thought of leaving once I heard the word 'unobtanium' mentioned.

The Talented Mr Ripley is the worst movie ever

It is so bad that if you haven't seen it, you need to see it just so you can appreciate how bad it is.

Have to be a a really big fan of John LeCarre' to enjoy. I enjoyed his novels but patience is a virtue..also have to appreciate the Brits.

. The first time I watched Dumb and Dumber I thought the same thing. But I watched it again for the 2nd time and I literally laughed my *** off. Now if it's ever on, I watch it. I've got buddies that think the same about Napoleon Dynamite. I absolutely hate that movie but some think it's the funniest movie ever made.

#1 Monster's Ball is hands down the worst movie ever made.

#2 The Perfect Storm. I want those two hours of my life back.

#3 Last year some time I tried to watch The Tree of Life. Couldn't get through the first 20 minutes.

I guess I technically paid for it through HBO, but There will be Blood, I hate that 17'n movie. And I love pretty much everything else DDL has done but that slow *** movie is second only to The English Patient on my instant Ambien list.
ETA - Worst movie I ever saw in the theaters was Showgirls but I didn't pay for it. We brought coolers for a free midnight viewing and most of us were already hammered. We had a blast and at the time I barely remembered the movie. The next morning I talked to my friend and told him how awesome it was. He went and saw it and was so pissed that he told me I owed him 5 bucks. I've since watched some of it and it is horrible.

Against All Odds. Phil Collins Theme Song, Starring Jeff Bridges, Rachel Woods

the leading lady, James Woods the Bad Guy, even Alex Karras in a co-starring role. Should've been a great movie. It sucked balls.

2) My Best Friends Wedding- the only reason it isn't number one was that it "served its purpose" as a date movie.

Honorable Mention: 40 Days and 40 Nights. Wasn't a good "bad" movie, just stupid.

Blair Witch for me. Got motion sick damn it and left the theatre.

The one that beats all of these a buddy of mine went to. Hearing him tell the horror of his experience is still funny. Dragged there on a date of course.

Gigli. Jenifer Lopez and Affleck.

That movie cost over $50m to produce and grossed only about $6m. Horrific. The Times rated it as a zero.

I went and saw that movie. I was on a first date and was hoping to watch Gothika and it wasn't out yet. We decided to still see a movie and SEVENTEEN it was awful. Kind of a pretext for the whole relationship...deciding to go through it anyway just to find out it sucked.

Since I'm the one who asked the original question, it's Jerky Boys.

That movie was awful.

Sisterhood of the traveling pants (I promised my now wife, for our first date, i would let her pick the movie...BIG mistake letting her pick, and as bad of a name this movie has, I assure you, it comes nowhere close to how terrible the actual movie was).

Highlander Endgame
Wyatt Earp (came out after tombstone, so of course i was jacked to see it...it ended up being the only movie i have ever fallen asleep watching in the theater...it wasnt necessarily bad from what i remember, just immensely boring)
Deuce Bigalo: European Gigolo...high expectations, poor follow-through.

Spoiler Alert: If you haven't seen it yet, Anchorman 2 is horrendously bad, too. I loved the original, and I usually love totally ignorant movies, especially when Will Ferrell and Steve Carrell are involved, but it was terrible.

After having read through this thread, I still stick with my original nomination: Dracula: Dead and Loving It. If you don't agree, it's because you haven't seen that piece of ****. I wouldn't advise it, either.

Speaking of that it is on netflix now.

I hate the twilight saga.

Some of you guys haven't paid to see very many movies if you think Fargo, Mr. Ripley, or Ted are the worst movies you've ever seen. Hell Mr. Ripley was nominated for 5 Oscars and that's the worst movie you've ever paid to see? Ever? Damn.
