OT: Stratton in Augusta, GA

Just saw where Chris Stratton will be in the rotation for my home town Augusta Green Jackets (Single A).

Just thought I'd pass it along in case any other Dawgs in the CSRA weren't aware. Watching a State boy pitch on a Thirsty Thursday would be great.

Maroon Dawgs that is, not those gaudy red ones this state is inundated with.

If he does well, he'll probably move up the ranks pretty quick. I read an article that he is projected to make it as far as AAA in the next year or two. Of course, the big step is making it to the majors, but if he keeps getting better, he might very well land in someone's bullpen in the next few years. I'd love to see him in a major league bullpen, but this is a huge opportunity for him to get started. Great for him, and I wish I could see how he does throughout different leagues.
