I'm just glad this place is serious and mature and this won't devolve into a thread about how Sweden's Deputy Prime Minister of Energy has pointy elbows and then probably end up filled with pictures of other politicians, EU or otherwise, with pointy elbows.

Dumbest thing Germany did was shut down their nuclear plants. The only truly green energy available to us right now is nuclear and it is safer than ever.
I can think of a few other things that they have done that were dumber...
