Ed Sheeran and Channing Tatum were spotted in Beach Haven too. Apparently they’ve attending Taylor’s producer’s wedding at Parkers Garage on Saturday
I heard she was going to be there last week. I was sworn to secrecy. I told all of my nieces and Im now their hero since they got to see her down there lol.

It would be nice if people wouldn't be such douchebags. I mean, we're NJ, people. We're supposed to be chill with celebrity. This is the place where Bruce Springsteen can rumble up to Jersey Freeze and nobody reacts more than to just say 'hi'. Act like ya been there.

With this event and The Jonas Brothers, Ray Romano, etc here all the time, the prestige level (and home prices) will get even higher.

ahhh.. you don't want to see it become "a thing". I get you. I suspect they'd eventually get treated like Bruce. Cool.. but don't make a big thing out of it. Go about your lives.
I just don’t want more people at all. Celeb or not.

As a kid I knew when my Mom got to the part in the NYT real estate section (“If You’re Thinking Of Living in…”) when I heard her speak a word I wasn’t allowed to say.

I’m too young to have experienced Beatlemania, I understand she’s the closest thing

She has 270 million followers on Instagram - the size of US population around year 2000.
Her fans are mostly teeny bops with parents who think Swift is a traditional role model.
She became a NYC lefty but she isn't all inked-up with rings in her nose

I know I’m in the minority but I just don’t get the excitement around meeting/seeing famous people.

You're not thinking about it the right way.

When I think about that sort of thing, it's always something like, "HI! Say, nice boat... My name's Scarlett. Mind if I come aboard? Got any bourbon?"

For those of you old enough to remember Burt Ward.
He married a girl from Montclair…Batman was sooooo popular, we camped out in front of the girls home until we got a glimpse of Robin
One of the Jonas brothers married a girl from Denville and they used to be spotted around town

Jimmy Byrne’s Seagirt Inn would have been better
It is now a nature preserve.

When I was younger and still living at my parents house, I had to get a parking sticker to park in front of their house (because she couldn’t figure out the driveway - lol) This was even after it was closed for years.

My Dad said in its heyday they had 100 bartenders a night working.

I’ve met some pretty famous athletes and just asked them to grab me a beer or slice of pizza…
And a couple of A- List celebs that were pretty much the same.
Most are just normal people with a different job.

I once had a conversation with Pierce Brosnan (about 20 years ago) in a bar in Santa Monica while watching a Lakers game on TV and it was no different than conversations I have with people I went to high school with.

Which is precisely the reason why Scarlett Johansson will one day stumble across me and my sailing vessel in some tropical harbor and decide to spend some time hanging out with me. 🤣

So you just go up to famous people and ask them to buy you stuff? Not smooth. 😜

And a good 007 IMO.

For the more modern era, yes.

I'm one of those people who believe that Connery was the perfect Bond because Bond was, per Fleming's novels, something of a cad. I mean, how many times did Sean Connery, as James Bond, just up and smack a *****?
