Remember the thread a few months ago about the weather departments of several stations will lose local forecasters and broadcast local weather from Atlanta? The Tupelo station as well as WAAY in Huntsville were two of the stations. As I recall, that decision was paused after public outcry, but perhaps is now being implemented. It even led to the Tupelo guy leaving his job and going to his own YouTube channel.
At least one in Huntsville is apparently being let go. Any word on other stations? This young woman, like most TV mets these days it seems, is an MSU grad.
