Like all Sixpackers, I want to make sure I get my money's worth at the buffet for years to come. To do that I've been walking more but I've been wearing out my tenny shoes in one specific spot. Basically, above 123 in this diagram:

Do they make an insert or something that can help with this? Or some other way to not put all the pressure on that one spot? It's more pronounced on my left foot but also happens on the right side. I'm going to have to take out another 4th mortgage on the doublewide to keep buying shoes at this rate.
I tend to pop a hole in the same spot but on outside of the fabric of the shoe. I went to a wider shoe (went from a D width to an E width and it solved the problem, maybe you need something similar. I didn't even notice the difference.
As an alternative to Fleet Feet or local store, get on the phone with Road Runner Sports (
https://www.roadrunnersports.com/ ) and tell them what's going on. They are the most knowledgeable people that I've ever seen. They ask lots of questions, will sometimes have you wet the bottom of your foot and step on a brown paper bag and take a picture to send to them and they will analyze. They are super thorough, will talk your head off about shoes if you want. They have a VIP Club that if you join they give you 10% off shoes and 90 DAYS to wear the shoe and if you don't like it, they will take it back no questions asked. They also ship free too.
Edit: I don't buy as many as I did before but I will join the VIP Club, buy a pair and wear them for awhile and if they are wearing well I'll buy a couple more pair and take advantage of the 10% discount and free shipping and then let the VIP expire for a year or two and just wear the other pairs I bought until I need new ones. Shoes are like car models, they change them every year so when you find some you like buy them up because they will change them every year. I just bought some HOKAS from them that were actually the model from 2 years ago and they had 3 pair left and so I snatched them up. You can also just start buying on Amazon once you find one you like.
