It will get better with time. I realized the other day that my dad has been gone for 19 years, it seems like 3-4 years tops. I had to cuss him about a month ago. I had the main water line coming to my house burst. It was 3 feet deep in hard dry dirt in Mississippi. In Mississippi! I could just hear him telling the guy on the trencher, “ put it a little deeper, don’t want it to freeze”. i could just hear him laughing his *** off watching me try to dig 3 foot deep in concrete hard dirt.

My mom has been gone for 15 years now… my dad for 4. It really is amazing how fast 15 years go by. Seems like just yesterday my mom passed. I miss her especially a lot during the holidays because she loved Christmas so much. But like you said, it definitely gets easier with time.

Zero issues in my party of 9. The conversation turned several times, but I kept re-affirming "no politics". We had a good night.
