Walker gladiator arena? That was a wtf moment. Also, with the third grave, I guess they found Carol?

I like her. She is bada$$. I hope she ends up at the prison with the group. And who the hell called the prison phone and Rick told them "we're dying here"?

This is what I'm thinking.

I don't think they found her body, just her weapon and scarf next to T-Dog's body. I'm thinking she found a hiding spot from the walkers and is too scared to come out at the moment.

exactly. That was the whole point of T-Dogg's heroic sacrifice. Why she didn't come out later I don't know. She's been a character since the beginning, she would get a proper sendoff. Also - Lori was pregnant forever and now someone thinks about formula?

The flower was for Carol. She held one during the first season.

And to say that Rick's in a dark place is an understatement.

I'm thinking they were counting on her to be around to feed her baby. Still stupid to not have a back-up, but I think the idea was they were caught off guard by not having somebody able to breast feed.

Having read the graphic novels....

The phone indicates a very dark and crazy road ricks about to go down with that damn phone. Also, wondering wtf with the carol situation.

Not convinced Carol OR Lori are dead!!

I really think Carol is hiding and we'll see her in the next episode or so.

As for Lori, I'm not 100% convinced that she's dead. Neither the show nor the book made it real clear. No body last night when Rick went into the room. So either Carl didn't shoot her right and she's a walker now or she's still alive and crawled to a hiding place, or it's all part of the phone call. Guess we'll see!!

I think it's pretty clear that there were splattered brain fragments all over the floor indicating that Carl actually did shoot her in the head.

Lori is a goner.

She was inside the bloated stomach of that last walker that Rick shot and stabbed several times. I'm curious as to why the stabbed the stomach several of times. Taking a little bit of anger out at Lori? Rick is gonna absolutely lose it. I think him looking all crazy with the baby crying in the background was a foreshadow.

Glen or his GF or someone

said that they checked several grocery stores for baby formula but never found any due to the stores being raided already

OK, what if Carol isn't dead; Lori wasn't plugged by Carl; and Carol comes in and pulls her away and sews her up and saves her life.

Remember, Carol was the one practicing on the zombie corpses. Just kinda odd for those two to be knocked off with a lot left open.

While Carol was practicing on the Walkers, she was being watched from "who"?outside the prison...

That is probably who called Rick at the end.... Anyway, it snapped Rick out of his tirade.

Lori calls Rick. Although the phone isn't plugged in. It's his way of 'coping'

At least that's how it plays out in the books. Lori is dead.

I like this theory. Carol practicing surgery had to have meant something. Or maybe it was just a reminder of how 1st-world their conditions are. But I like the foreshadowing idea better.

The books leave some doubt on her "death" as well. Remember, it shows her take a gut shot and its all done in just ONE frame!!!! Rick nor anyone goes to check on her or the baby to see if she's dead. I've read many of comics in my life and I've never seen the death of a major character handled with just ONE frame. Just leaves room for more story later...my opinion!

I forgot about the person in the woods

I've not read any of the books, but that brings a crazy thought as to who that person could be. And whatever happened to the Black guy and his son who saved Rick in season one? Could it be him? Liked that guy!

Surely Carl would have gotten help

and went back to check on her if he didn't shoot her. Kinda odd how they would shoot her instead of leaving her and possibly try to save her tho.

I think you got it BigDog!! Maybe we'll know more Sunday.......or they could drag it out all season like Sophia!

Speaking of Sophia, did you notice the sticker on the wall of the day care with "Sophia" on it? Foreshadowing something?

The walker with the distended stomach ate Lori. That was why they didn't show her body.

Greg Nicotero, who directed the episode, said as much afterwards on the Talking Dead. Lori is dead dude, in the show and in the graphic novels. No one went back to check on her in the graphic novel because they were fleeing for their own lives.

Chris asked Greg "Are we to ascertain" that the bloated zombie ate Lori. Greg said yes. I took that as "are we to believe" that the zombie at Lori. You may be exactly right that she's dead, but the door is wide open for her to be alive.

From my understanding that person watching from outside was the inmate who let the walkers in the prison and tried to kill Rick in the generator room. Now whether he acted alone is the question. The person creeping around at the beginning of last weeks episode had black pants on, not navy like the prisoners are wearing. I'm thinking maybe Daryl is going rogue?

My take(s)...

Lori is dead....done deal. Greg Nicotero said she was dead, and the zombie had "drug her around the corner" & eaten her. He specifically mentioned Lori's hair in the zombies hands & in his mouth, which when I re-watched it twice, you can see if you're looking for it.

Carol...not as certain. I was thinking it's her on the phone from inside the prison, where you don't "need" electricity to work the phones, just phone lines. But, Nicotero said about the graves that one was Carol's grave, and Hardwick said "Carol's grave ?" Nicotero said, well, there's 3 graves, and one's empty, because there was no body of Lori's....I thought he might have lt a thng or two slip on the aftershow, but who knows ?

Nicotero did say we'd know who was calling Rick on the next episode....
