Anyone else watching? Finding that I like it more and more as the series progresses. Definitely a "Thinking" type show - so it can be slow at times. But the Supernatural elements and Plot Intrigue keep me coming back. Also think for the most part it is scripted & acted very well. Very much in the same vein as "Lost" (note that the showrunner is David Lindelof also from Lost).

Best show on tv right now (imo). Way better than lost too. The characters on that show are just incredible. Really makes you think about life, faith etc.

The 2nd season has been a big improvement from the first, although that was decent as well. Last night's episode was terrific. One of the best hours of tv I have seen in a while.

Last Sundays show reminded me of Tony's 'Dream Sequence' in the Sopranos.

The last 2 episodes have been fantastic. Season 2 started slow for the first 3 episodes but they needed to set the background for what was to come. Very much like Lost. A lot of reflection and religious themes. Definitely makes you think.

This show took off creatively when they moved away from the book. The first season was good, but the second season has gone to a different level.

There are so many little things hidden in each episode that you have to pay close attention. For instance the reverand's wife Mary was in the dream world and there were it's a boy balloons. The bird was the same type that was buried in a shoebox several episodes earlier. Patty's Secret Service staff were guilty remnant members that I think died in the fire from season 1 (could be wrong on that).

EVERYONE in the hotel was dead (even Patty's ex-husband says everyone in the hotel is dead- but not all of them know it) - that's how you get there. That's what makes Mary's presence interesting (she's not dead, but catatonic) - but if you re-watch closely - the bellman says that the balloons are for Mary Jamison - the woman he delivers them to resembles Mary - BUT you never actually see her face... something more to it???

and - the priest in the elevator (same clothes that Kevin had in his closet) -- is that someone else on a similar quest, or maybe Kevin in an alternate world? And the cop with the bag over his head Kevin passes on his way to be interrogated - is that also him in an alternate world?

and what about the woman with the biohazard box who was in the hotel garage and outside during the fire alarm - both times trying to get into the hotel - but was being blocked?

and what with all the water???!

Yeah if anyone knows where I can read up on theories about what's going on I'd really like the link.

I watched the entire 1st season and decided to stop. It was just so dreary and dull and everyone was miserable. Plus the writer is the guy from Lost so I figured that if I stuck with it I'll get burned by some unfulfilling ending.

show is good - not sure I would say best on TV now. Second season better than the first. According t the producers they do not intend to explain the rapture event. Also - the show alludes to the supernatural - but other than the initial rapture event there really are no super natural elements (merely coincidences).

What the show is really about - is how people deal their perceptions of reality and coping with stress and to a degree insanity - hence single person perspective for each episode.

Acting has been excellent!

Regarding Supernatural - First season definitely was all about the rapture. Second season has many more elements introduced based on Jardin, the teens dissappearing, the bird in a box, the guy on the tower, the guy able to read hands and last Sunday's episode in purgatory or whatever dreamworld, the guy on the bridge asking Kevin to hang himself as an option.....etc.

Another interesting point is that Virgil is also the name of the character from Dante's inferno who is Dante's guide through hell.

I see the illusion - but these items are merely coincidences and nudge at the margins of supernatural. The girls disappearance remains to be explained - which I expect. The whole Jardin issue is manmade as it has become an attraction (National Park).

also love the the show, its a toss up for best on TV (currently playing) between this and Fargo. Homeland in the mix too.
