How bout that ending? Wow.

Eating a man's leg while he's sitting right in front of you is just a little harsh.

wtf was carol doing at that car? break away on her own?

also, in the comic, if i read the comic summary right, that was supposed to be dale missing a leg, but it went down a little different than that. also, the term "hunters" was pretty neatly used in garreths diatribe.

Yeah, I won't ruin it for everyone who isn't following along with the comic, but I'm excited about the cross-on-the-back-window people coming into the story finally.

Actually it could have been toward the end of last weeks show

I watched both last night.

He was by himself, and he took off some type mask.

I'd like to go back and look for him. Do you remember what the scene was when you saw him? What was going on?

After Rick and the group leaves the rail road tracks and masked man walks up to the Terminus sign that Rick wrote no on. He turns around and takes the mask off and it him. It wasn't the end of episode one after they show what has happened on previous episodes and right before this week’s episode started is when he shows up. It was the in between the episodes but you did not see it until last night, if that makes sense?

I don't know that you could entirely because the producers have said they are going to follow and then not follow the comic. I have stayed away from the comic since I got pulled into the show. I have friends who have and even they say the story line has strayed several times.

It is crazy how my family has jumped into watching this. First it was me, then me and the sons (26 and 16) then the wife who claimed she was not watching some zombie apocalypse show was drawn in. Cool for me because I got to go back and watch all the seasons over again with them and then we do it again before the premiere.

Game of Thrones went right down the same path in the house as well.

Blah blah blah spoiler alert line for the title.

So his name is Bob, and now he had a Bob leg. Well played, Walking dead.

What do yall think about Gabrielle(the preacher)?

He seems to be a pretty good guy but just out of touch with what is really happening.

The group thinks he is hiding something but I dont believe that he has the capacity to hide anything. Just a scared preacher

blabbity, blah, blabbity. SPOILERS in the title for now...........

No, I think there has to be something bad with Gabrielle. The "you will burn for this" on the back of the church as well as the knife marks that Carl found. I am wondering if he didn't just hole up when things went bad to protect himself and let others die so he could save himself. I have nothing to base this on...

He's hiding something.

At least he was in the comic book, as I recall from the summaries.

Side note: I miss the days when priests could be compelling characters.

Yea - spoilers

I think he locked his congregation out of the church when **** went down, kept all the canned good for himself. Including his wife in the picture he was looking at, pretty sure she was the zombie he freaked out about seeing in the flooded basement.

Yeah I guess I was talking about hiding something that could endanger the safety of the group.

Like when Herschel was hiding walkers in the barn. or Terminus people eating ppl instead of providing safe haven.

Im sure Gabrielle did some terrible things at the beginning but who didnt.

I'm splitting hairs but if he's a priest then he can't have a wife, right? Not a preacher, but a priest, based on his attire, which was very well kept considering he's in an apocalypse.

The woman in the photo he was looking at near the end

was wearing the same glasses as the zombie in the basement.

I may have assumed too much by saying wife. I think the sign in front of the church said Episcopal, not sure if their priests marry, but I think they do.

The Church was Episcoplian, so I think he can marry. Or maybe he was just having an affair with the Church Lady.

I'm guessing there are people that will attack the group because of what he did and that's the way he's going to endanger the safety of teh group. Seems like they were pretty clear that he holed up with the canned goods, members of his congregation were pissed, and it was his GF was in the food pantry. I guess it's also possible the "you'll burn for this" was about him messing around with the girl from teh food pantry, but that doesn't explain teh knife marks trying to get into the church. I guess it's also possible that he will be a danger simply because he freaks out around zombies and causes them problems.

Spoiler

Yes, it was an Episcopalian church. And, yes, they can marry. I do not know if he was married or not. And yes, the woman that freaked him out in the basement was the woman in the picture.

Guessing along the same lines. He locked out his flock and maybe kept her for his or something.

The church sign had the Episcopalian logo. Their priests can marry.

Episcopalians and Lutherans wear a clerical collar. Outside the South some Methodists and Presbyterians do too. The collar is actually a Protestant invention that Catholics adopted.

Wasn't the guy from Terminus who Tyreese supposedly killed in the cabin still alive and in that final scene where they were eating Bob's leg?

He didn't look recently pummeled, either.

Another great episode...

The Morgan scene was at the end of Episode 1(post credits run), not at the beginning of Episode 2. Since it was post credit and the episodes ran back to back, it literally ran right into Episode 2.

Tyreese did not kill the termite guy that almost killed Judith...that was him sitting by the fire.

I really think Bob got bit underwater last night, and his demeanor at the party showed it. (One last kiss, walking outside and breaking down), plus the limp...I really think he's just infected the Hunters. Although you'd think since this is old hat for them, they'd be checking potential dinner for marks or bites...

Gabriel absolutely locked himself in the church and left his congregation (and wife, apparently) to fend for themselves.

As I understand, everyone is infected. You die, you turn--period.

True...but if you only get a scratch or a non-lethal bite, you slowly turn as well. Remember Jim in Season 1 ?

Sure. I'm just saying...

... the cannibals could eat as much infected human meat as they want and I don't think it makes a difference. They're infected either way. Now maybe Bob turns on them--but Bob isn't going much of anywhere on that stump.

As for turning after a bite, I'm not sure if it's the virus that supposedly gets you or the infection from decaying flesh rubbed into an open wound. I think it's supposed to be the latter. If everyone is infected, then presumably they should have all turned by now if just getting the virus in your system does you in. But then again, you can douse yourself in zombie guts and it doesn't seem to matter.

Maybe Eugene can tell us. He's a "scien-tist"...or so we are told...

I agree that Bob was bitten and most likely infected the cannibals with his leg meat. Apocalypse karma?
Also, the actor who played Tyrese stated on The Talking Dead that he was surprised the cannibal guy he beat didn't die.
Darrell will now have to make a choice between Beth and Carole if they catch the cross-car that kidnapped her.
Great episode.

Spoilers - Eugene's group

There seems to be something up with those 3. The red headed duke nukem had a line in the opening scene when Michone was killing a zombie that made me wonder what they're up to. Said something along the lines of waiting on their moment to... do something or another. I think they're up to something besides just getting to Washington; or maybe using the Washington trip to disguise whatever they're really up to.

It reminded me of a scene from "Quest For Fire",

except (in QFF) they were eating a guy's arm while he was tied up.

I haven't caught anything that would tip them off to being up to something than the original purpose. I think Abraham(red-headed) was just saying be patient and knowing when to push Rick and when to give him his space.

I thought it was interesting that Bob pushed Rick to go to DC. However we know the trip to DC will be delayed until the Terminus people are dealt with. Also the group has to reunite Carol/Beth/Daryl.

I could honestly see the show completely ending when they get to DC and the geek walks into some center and BAM end of show.

SPOILERS everywhere....

Good thought on Bob possibly being infected....but then I wonder if the Terminators may have saved his life but cutting off his infected leg? I know it was probably too late to save him, but a Herschel style amputation could have been just what he needed.

Someone tweeted last night: Who do you think would win a one-legged race between Bob and Herschel?

It was an after the credits scene from last weeks season premier. Glad to see Morgan again. Gonna be interesting to see how his appearance pans out.

The show's not going to end until ratings fall off. I'm guessing that this entire season will be dedicated to dealing with the Terminus people. and the group that has beth. Hopefully there's lots of interesting material with the group that has beth because having a whole season dealing with Terminus people could get pretty slow.
