Charmin Ultra Strong

Just because it’s in a red package doesn’t mean it’s the real thing. Keep that store brand sandpaper away from my аsshole.
Would agree except for Sam's Member Mark Ultra Prem. It's all we buy, even their paper towels. Now if not near a Sam's it's Charmin and Bounty.

Also, some pop-tarts don't measure up but a couple do.

Disagree. Charmin Ultra is too thick and clogs the toilet too easily.

Cottonelle has the right thickness, softness, and flushes like a dream. You're welcome. Just don't buy it all and leave some for me the next time it's going to snow.
Softness is good on Cottonelle, but I feel like it’s far too fragile.

Was an Angel Soft man as a bachelor because of my father. Wife converted me to Cottonelle "Clean." Purple package...I finally learned.

Did CocaCola ever start using real cane sugar for the US? That was newsy a year or so ago but I haven't heard anything about it since it was a big deal.
Many grocery stores already sell “Mexican Coke”. A full on replacement with sugar was never going to happen. That was just another in a long line of Epstein distractions.

Aldi pop tarts are great, but the flavor choices are limited. My kids will eat the strawberry but they prefer cherry (which Aldi doesn’t sell).
They won’t eat the actual Pop-Tarts brand.
Another thing they’re particular about is Cheez-It. It’s name brand or nothing for them, and they can tell.

Just discovered making our yearly breakfast casserole that Kroger brand crescent rolls suck donkey balls. Everytime we went to the store they were out of Pillsbury.

I was in DG yesterday and they had a whole case of them. Say that to say for all the fun people have at their expense, they have a lot of things in there you might not expect. I'll stop in and check if it's an item or 2 and don't want to drive all the way to the "real stores" if I can help it, forgot something and don't want to go back on the way home or in this case they were out of something. I have a couple near me (shocking I know) I use fairly often.

Examples over the years -
Duct tape, including the good stuff Duck/Gorilla and selection was damn near good as Lowes. Command Hooks too.
Kroger was out of mineral oil so I stopped by DG on the way home, bingo
Hand mixer broke on Thanksgiving day ran up to DG and sure enough. (don't use it but once or twice a year but actually still running 8 years later)

Just sharing if folks aren't inclined to think about shopping the DG and when their prolific number of locations can come in handy.

Mexican Coke… I bought a case at Lowe’s
That is Coke imported from Mexico. Coca Cola has agreed to sell cane sugar Coke through US Bottlers. In theory, it would be cheaper than Mexican Coke, but if they are claiming cane sugar supply issues, then maybe not.

The Sam’s ultra TP is great.
Mine is Smuckers Strawberry Jelly. If it ain’t smuckers. The Kroger or GV brand is terrible.

I was shocked too. I think Hunts is one of those things like Duke's Mayo. Once people actually compare them, they will be shocked that they like it better. Do the test yourself.
Hunts is super cheap too. Heinz tastes a lot sweeter to me.

Scotch tape - I've finally beaten my wife out of buying the cheapest crap out there if she wants any help wrapping presents

Cheerios - none of that other off brand crap is close

Ruffles - I can skip french onion dip with any other chip, but Ruffles are uniquely the best and I will eat them until they disappear

Heinz - not even a close second

Great call on Cheetos, and I’ll throw cheese Doritos in there too. I don’t know what it is about knockoff chips, but aside from some occasional potato chips, there aren’t may that are even close to the name brand.

Another one that I always seem to run into is stuff you use around the kitchen. Ziplock bags, aluminum foil, disposable plates… Either the product itself is junk or else the dispenser for stuff like plastic wrap is complete crap
It seems like they are putting less and less cheese on the doritos nowdays. They are not very good to me at all.
