With its hack job movies about the Bush/Gore election and about Palin, it is a joke that they could even say it wasn't political. What in the hell were they doing with a decapitated Bush head to begin with? Why would such a prop even exist?

Those things do come apart. And this sounds like a valid enough excuse to me. Nevermind that "HBO" and the producers of Game of Thrones are not one and the same. Hell I watched and never noticed.
"We use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the
show: heads, arms, etc. We can't afford to have these all made from
scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent
them in bulk," their statement read.</p>

"After the
scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads
looked like George W. Bush. In the DVD commentary, we mentioned this,
though we should not have. We meant no disrespect to the former
President and apologize if anything we said or did suggested otherwise."</p>

how much time people have to devote to **** that means nothing. This means NOTHING! It's was a flick scene of a head on a stick in a fantasy show on a pay cable channel. Who in the holy hell has the time to give one !%%# that they grabbed a foam head that happened to look like a former president of the United States? Seriously? This is what our "news" channels are covering? This is stupid as ****...
